Hello to all Master/Mistress/Dom/Domme/sub/slave/switches:

I am new to this site, began today. Since I have never done anything like this, especially online, is there a way I can find out if someone is known to be a player or a fake?

You just have to talk to them and decide for yourself. Generally that type of thing comes out fairly quickly.

Your profile says you have no experience but you are engaged to decidedly non-kinky guy. And you welcome contact that might talk you out of marrying this guy.

Well, I guess you are in pickle. But by the time you sort through the few hundred emails you will be getting... you should have enough experience be able to identify the most obvious players and the fakes.

if you want to find out if they are a player go with your heart and feelings on this person..ask alot of questions and get to know that person...the D/s relationship is not always about sex..its about everything whether its right for you or not..take your time.....play safe and live long

Sorting out the fakes from e-mail is about as easy as sorting out the fakes from real-life. Follow your instincts, and if something seems not right to you, it's time to bail. On the other hand, there are always expert players smarter than we are ... so be cautious.

In addition, I recommend that you start to take control of your own life before waiting for some magical Dom guy to do it. If I were single and in your area, I would not contact you, because I'm not interested in someone who will cheat on their current relationship. If you don't really want to marry this guy, then don't.

take a look in the mirror next time you are having one of those delicious missionary moments with your strictly vanilla fiance and you should be able to get a pretty good fix on what one looks like.

this is not intended as a flame, only to illustrate how bizarre your question is. Is this an arranged marriage or did you consent to it of your own free will? Your masochistic tendencies are being illustrated by the commitment to enter into a marriage, which by your own definition will be one of frustration and lack fulfillment, indicating the bigger problem---being a poser to yourself.
