ORIGINAL: cyberdude611 I've been thinking of setting up a system where I would have a separate hard drive for Linux and do everything I possibly can in that, while having a Windows drive just for gaming or things you can only do with Windows. But, I've just been too lazy and pre-occupied to do it. Once XP isn't supported anymore...I'll make that switch. Linux has come a long way over the past few years. Did you know that computers at NATO use Linux? They dont dare use Windows. With IBM supporting Linux virtual partitions on their Big Iron, Linux is used for just about everything important these days. Winders Boxes are OK enough I guess for PC's on peoples desk, but for moving the heavy Freight it's a Linux Box, and/or if you need the guaranteed 1000% uptime shit that the IBM Mainframes still feature, your linux code will run on that... I've said for years, "ALL real operating system distributions ship with Perl" Windows hardly ships with anything, much less a Perl interpreter. Shame, because they could almost be taken seriously.
