I don't want to waste my time too much, so please feel free copy and paste this advice where appropriate:

1) Discuss that with the other person in your relationship.

2) Why are you putting something outside of your relationship (any idiot du jour's idea of "protocol") above your relationship.

For guys on the Mistress board asking yet another variation of "How do I get a Mistress?":

First off we'll ignore your faux pax of assuming you own the Mistress because you are new. Mistresses are women. Do you think any guy knows anything of women? If they do, do you think they'd tell you? If a woman answers she's not going to tell you the secret handshake either. At best you'll get ten different answer and they'l be contradictory but right because people are different. And if you get the secret handshake, please tell me.

Good advice. Though sometimes outside perspective is nice and that is one of the purpose of boards like this. That is why we have Ask a Master, Ask a Mistress, Ask a Submissive/Slave , Ask a Switch... and all the other places where people can post queries.

If you don't like giving advice or reading other people giving other people advice, no one is forcing you.

Funny, I met very few who make this faux pas. Most submissive men that I actually get to meet face to face are very much into giving me full control (I'm not talking about trolls, which are not submissive men in my opinion, but sex hungry little trolls trying to get a fix any which way they can).

I think some men "get" women much more then others. I have met men who understand women very well in fact. They have made wonderful partners.

For the record, I have no problem in training men into being more attentive to women and treating women right, both on a physical and emotional level. I see no advantage to keeping all this information to myself and then complaining that men aren't meeting my needs.

I guess my reality is nothing like yours.

Out of curiousity, do you currently have a Mistress? If not, I'd think you aren't particularly qualified to be dolling out such 'Ask a Male Sub" advice.

Your generalizations are just that, generalizations. Is it so difficult for you to realize that everyone's experiences are unique?

Obviously you are not like say, 99.9999% percent of humanity. (Yes, Angelika you're an individual.)

(That is unless you want to show me the secret Mistress handshake. I'll take that part about you being an idividual back if you provide proof of a Mistress's collective.)

Depends on definitions of force. Why do you think I went away for a long time but am back now? In the end it is my choice to reply, but if I can't respond to a simple request... (Not an order, but a request.)

Yes, and I'm not stupid enough to say who she is. Ask Lady Beckett how much crap she got because PEOPLE THINK FOR THEMSELVES some time.

Now protagonist Lily, good bye.

I think therefore I am. Yes, in Cartesian terms, I am an individual.

Sorry to bust your bubble iwill, there is no secret Mistress handshake. As we are women who don't like having people tell us what to do, we kind of do things our own individual way. If anyone ever came out with a Mistress Book of Rules, we'd probably laugh and chuck it out the window. No one tells us ladies how to do our thing ;)

My definition of force is well, someone making you. Are you undergoing a collarme.com message board Ludivigo Treatment?

Bang on joecool.

You probably didn't get results as it seems I misspelled it, chris. I double checked my notes and it's Ludovico.

Essentially, Alex, the protagonist and the narrator, undergoes a Ludovico treatment in order to cure him of his brutal desires. The treatment entails being drug induced, strapped to a chair and having his eyelids pinned open while he watches violent and offensive films. The treatment insures that when faced with violent or sexual temptations, Alex's desires will be suppressed and replaced with a feeling of nausea and violent sickness. The behaviour modification techniques of the Ludovico treatment are intended to reform Alex, to suppress his primal self, rather than accepting it or at the very least trying to understand it.

In a nutshell...

You sound like an infant. Really, your Mistress should be absolutely ashamed of your behavior.

Ah, thank you for that explanation.

I hope that this is not what iwillserveu is going through. I have enjoyed the humor in his posts before his prolonged absence and look forward to reading his wit again.

He is a good person and a valued member of the Collarme community. The little tiff in this thread is not an indicator of who he really is or the normal character of his messages.

Well I think your post was hysterical, and pretty much right on the mark...lol. (Just make Mistress and Master interchangeable).

Its funny how the same people handing out advice one day are the same ones who jump all over it when said by someone else, even when said tongue in cheek. Go figure. Guess its that woman's perogative to change their mind, eh?

best regards,
fate

Actually, I was responding to the OP, and just hit the reply button at the bottom, which I believe defaults to the previous poster and not necessarily the OP. <smiles>
