Most definitely I do. My preference is for muscular and taller than I am which isn't difficult at 5'3. I prefer someone that will still be taller than me even when I'm wearing heels. 5'10 and up is good for me. Something about a man that dresses well and smells good drives me crazy and makes me want to get them out of that suit!

There's just something about bringing someone to his knees that could snap me like a twig if he had a mind to...yet knowing he isn't capable of doing so through his submission. I tend to be attracted to the surfer boy look of blonde/blue swimmer physique. Yet all 3 of my former subs have been gym rats, martial arts type guys. Perhaps because they seem to be able to take the amount of pain I can dish out without too much trouble. They have all had dark hair (black or brown) with light eyes (blue or green) as well now that I think about it.

I was always attracted to the tall, dark and handsome type. An accent and some brains usually seals the deal. But I've been attracted to and involved with subs of average height, subs who are bald, subs who are blond and blue-eyed types, the shy and geeky types, the intensely independent and the soft and delicate types. The defining characteristic of all these men were their intellect as well as their openness and willingness to let me do things to them with their consent. So over the years, physical appearance has changed, but the attraction to intelligent and fearless men has remained constant. So I guess one might call that a preference.

sounds interesting. ideally, i'd want to be in an exclusive relationship with a Domme (unless she wanted to have a female sub/slave too). i'm still nervous to think about mixing in with other male subs/slaves. the mental part of her having multiple male subs doesn't bother me, but the health safety of it does. i appologise for not having a face photo shown in my profile, but my company (human resources) scour the internet on a regular basis looking to see who and what they'll find. here's the best i can do (2 pics) for now. these are a year old, i put on almost 10lbs now (working out) to look more masculine. Brazilian waxing has become very common amoungst men according to the Brazilian Ladies who run the salon down rhe street. In fact had a fun time a few weeks ago taking a sub for a wax - the ladies really got into the spirit of the whole ordeal too - we had a good bit of fun with the squeals and tears. And then there was the moment after he had been on his tummy when he had to turn over and he had a boner in a non boner setting - that was funny. He said beeng naked his ass in the air being focused on by 3 women was just too much for him. The final results were quite nice.

I like to have some sort of attraction - as I like and want to touch. Taller than me is a definite, clean, well groomed, and but some meat, a tummy are fun to grab handle full of - somewhat fit though in whatever form that takes and in whatever activity they prefer whether aerobic, cycling, weights - whatever. I have notticed that the closer to my hieght a sub the more muscle and fitness I prefer. Androgyny is not so much of a turn on for me - bu the right chemistry, connection and personallity can make anyone a lot of fun.

Like most people, some people are more attractive to me than others... The too many hours at the gym type is about as attractive to me as the extremely large guy. I'd like to listen to a guy talk, and watch for gentleman mannerisms before I decide if he's a do or don't in my datability scale. M

In my case, no, the physical is of lesser importance. I never was interested in athletes or body builders, etc. I enjoy dominating highly intelligent, passionate men who are in reasonable shape and who can communicate their inner desires and feelings articulately.

I prefer older, fatter, ugly slaves.

They are generally more experienced, better behaved, better tempered, less egotistical or best case scenario absolutely no ego. They are exceedingly grateful and thrilled to serve a Mistress of any level of attractiveness. They are over the moon for younger, more attractive Mistress and will go out of their way to serve and please her every whim and desire.

Why train the captain of the football team when you can have a social outcast with decades of social rejection do the job for you.

I prefer my meat very tender when I chew it up.

I must admit I don't even like the very athletic type, nor subs, who are too tall (why should I have to climb on a chair to fix his chains?). I have a penchant for the small, slim, boyish type - or the slim, stylish gentleman. Brains, style, eloquence are paramount. A great body may be interesting for a while, but a man with a strong personality, style and real submission is for keeps.

Honestly I prefer the whole package, but if I had to choose between intelligent and hot, Id say hot and dumb...as long as he's unquestioningly obedient.

As a guy who does spend time and effort staying fit and athletic, this is an interesting (and somewhat disappointing) thread.

Madison Avenue marketing firms spend millions of dollars each year trying to figure out what type of male look is most attractive to female consumers. Those studies tend to trend towards the "somewhat muscular" body type (with "wiry" usually a close second, and "teddy bear" often behind that). Likewise, there never seems to be a lack of women drooling over the Brad Pitts and Tom Cruises of the world.

However, it's also true that women (more so then men) place higher value on non-physical appearance traits when determining attractiveness. A sense of humor, consideration, intelligence, a good smile, etc., rank high with most women. (According to a recent poll, sharing housework was one of the major reasons certain relationships worked)

I remember some psychology courses from college that touched on issues of man-- woman attraction. One theory was that traits that demonstrated good provider/ protector skills (strength, speed, health, intelligence, etc.) in men were attractive to women because as humans evolved these were skills that were necessary for survival and procreation.

Query whether women with a dominant personality vary, as a group, from women with a different orientation? Does an "opposites attract" principal apply to some extent? In my personal experience, this doesn't seem to be the case. People of like body styles generally (with plenty of exceptions, of course) tend to gravitate towards each other. That may perhaps be accounted for simply because it may be an indicator of a number of other shared interests, which is a significant factor in compatibility.

There are probably published studies in the scientific literature addressing these issues, and the innumerable variations that spring from them. Do we have any academics on the board who can enlighten us?

I prefer mine dainty, effeminate, and very tall. Both boys are 6'4. Angel is about 135, Kitten is about 160. Neither are anywhere near muscular. I like the idea that I can physically life and carry my boys around, they are easier to position that way. If I decide to change rooms, I dont have to untie, just carry and reposition.

But personally .... hmmmm

Guys like that are a dime a dozen, and their tactics as well. Predators come in all shapes and sizes my friend.

I know how to smell "blood" too.

As a general rule, the things I look for first are not appearance-related. I've tended to be into kink with people I'm in a relationship with, rather than otherwise-platonic acquaintances, so my criteria are pretty stringent. Appearance-wise, the only advantage in my mind to having someone strongly-built is that there's a bit more muscle tissue to take the damage I like to dish out. I don't find it terribly attractive, frankly.

FR: If I fall off the fence (on which I currently sit) onto the Dominant side for a while, then I don't think it will make much difference to what I like.

Starting at the shallow end: suppose there is a line-up of guys, all strangers to me, and I can't interact with any of them (like a police line-up behind the one-way glass). I'll go for the tall ones (>6 ft) who appear to be in reasonable to good shape and who generally appear to be well-kempt. Long hair doesn't hurt either :) - on their head, that is...LOL. Heavily muscled - no thanks. Much overweight - ditto. Body hair I don't mind so much, as there's not much one can do about that (you can wax, shave, zap with lasers all you want, and most of the time its just going to come back, whereas excess poundage can be dealt with permanently. I did say this was the SHALLOW end remember!). I think I like to know that they could overpower me if they chose to do so... but will choose not to :)

Moving to the deeper end.... if I can talk to a group of guys, sight unseen, and know little about them physically, then it's going to be the ones who make me laugh, seem confident in themselves, and are articulate and knowledgeable (but not a wise-ass) who'll get my attention. I've fallen for guys who are SOOOO not my type physically (see shallow end above), but they won my mind over before I even met them, and that's what really counts in the end.
