When *I* go to the url...Along the middle to bottom left hand side of the page - there is an ad for the "underground" (says something about being weird) and then two links to offbeat news and offbeat digest. That is what I was writing about. I'm sure they are different for everyone, that is what I saw when I went to the url both times.
What I was trying to say is that an idea like this (whether or not it has pros and cons) resonates with BDSM and it's being associated on a news site with things that are "offbeat" and "weird". THAT is what makes Me sad.
Edited to add... down at the bottom there is "more ODD news" etc. Perhaps I am not familiar enough with Yahoo news. I usually view CNN's news.

While I have read the exact same things about China, I don't understand the conclusion. If there is only one female for thousands of males, why wouldn't they be treasured, pampered and protected, like an endangered species, rather than subjected to poor treatment?
