(CNN) -- An explosive device "which could have caused substantial harm" was found Wednesday in the parking lot of an Austin, Texas, women's clinic where abortions are performed, authorities said.

"It was configured in such a way as to cause serious bodily injury or death," Austin Police Assistant Chief David Carter told reporters Thursday.

i have to admit i am having a really hard time trying to figure out how they could possibly configure a bomb in such a manner "as to cause serious bodily injury or death"  LMAO

has that tone of "fake bomb scare"

Sort of like "hi mom this is johnny.... you believe me dont you"?  lmao

Put the pipe down.

I would fully support Bush's impeachment. If it weren't considered a terrorist act these days I would spit in his face if given the chance. I fully support the impeachment proceeding against Cheney, just wish they would do them both.

However that piece doesn't allude in the least to any evidence that Bush condoned or supported that bombing attempt.

Let me clue you in a bit, and everybody listen. Bush, Cheney, assholes, they are but figureheads. They are told what to do and say every day. No question about it.

The people who tell them what to do and say are very intelligent. They do not engage in post hoc ergo propter hoc reasoning, that is to jump to conclusions. They also do not exhibit knee-jerk reactions, although they wish it to appear that they do at times.

Yes there are many incompetents in government at all levels, but the smart people put them there, and for good reason. First of all they are easy to control, for two reasons. First of all  most of them don't know the first three words of the Constitution, and have no idea of right and wrong. They think in terms of legality, not morality.

They are also chosen because in many cases they are so blind that they cannot see the evil that they perpetrate. When they lock people up for gambling or smoking pot, things like that, they think they are doing the world a favor. They feel good about it.

We must avoid incorrect judgement. You can't pin that bomb on Bush. I firmly believe Bush was complicit in the 9/11 attack, but had no hands on. I firmly believe that FDR was complicit in the Pearl Harbor attack, but had no hands on. Except for those sanctions and stuff, but then the same could be said of Bush.

The fucking problem I have is that a few decades ago this country was thought of as a utopian dream, peaceful and friendly, open and generous. Look at us now. We've had tsunami victims tell us to go stick our aid up our ass. US citizens go to seminars to learn to act like Canadians to avoid being a target when traveling abroad.

Arabs use to like our trucks because they are nice, now they want them to blend in so they can get a bomb into our midst. Progress, sweet progress.

BUT, fargle, you just can't pin this on on him.

All I ask in life is that if I am to be damnned, that I be damnned for what I do, say and believe. As such I can do no less even for my worst enemy. We need to condemn our enemies only for things in reality, not our perception. No matter how much you may be diametrically opposed to them, you are not.

Although you may be, it is doubtful. For example I am against abortion. I would never have one. Bush is against abortion, but seriously he doesn't care at all. It is simply the party platform, the ego in the Freudian sense, a means to an end. I do not agree that the government should make these decisions however.

When I speak of representing us, I mean in national issues. If society weren't so fucked up, abortion decisions could be made by the family. And Father or not, the one who sired the child, I believe should be given the chance to take it. And not based on all these criteria, if it is his biological child, at the very least it's "you want this ?". Now there is ALOT more to this issue, but see that is precisely why we don't need the government mixed up in it. Contraception for kids. Geez.

Wasn't there a friggin biology class at school ? Didn't they teach anything about reproduction of animals ? Male, female etc., the mechanics of it. We got six year olds watching cats do it and seven year olds watching kittens being born. So just how ignorant are we keeping them ?

So I say ignorance is a bad thing. They know the process, how could they not deduce this ? Don't we hope they have a mind ? Or do we just want them to only think about what we tell them to think about.

The thing that needs to be stressed is the importance of not fucking up. That you really do NOT want to be a Mother at 15. It is not good for you, it is not good for the kid. Get teen Moms in the classroom to tell how it is.

Show them the old gonhorrea pictures. "Actually this doesn't happen, but you HAVE to go to the doctor. That means Mom knows, everrybody knows AND you have to name names. And they don't take no for an answer".

In other words get practical. Get out of the Biblical shit, all shit, just get real. Don't pin it on Bush. Be careful in accusing, lest you be accused.

So much for that.

It can be hard to express my point of view, and I am sure some have trouble understanding it. But I try to see all sides of an issue, and part of that is peoples' motives for their positions on it. I believe something like that has been called looking at things objectively.

And being totally objective and non-partisan, I say that the last ten Presidents were not the best choice. Some madmen, others traitors and a couple who just didn't pay attention. I think Nixon was one of the best Presidents believe it or not. At least he wasn't kicking back getting a blow job while there is shit going on at work.

So if you are truly a patriot, please only accuse when you have something solid. That is in no way intended to protect our foes. You see when we get proved wrong it hurts our position and credibility, and helps theirs.

Other than that, I appreciate the link. People are still doing that shit. It is OK to kill because they kill. Life goes on.

Actually the headline should say "Terrorist Attack foiled in Texas".  It was not allowed to go off.  The attempt failed.  But hey, why let reality get inthe way....

The bomb get delivered to it's target successfully. The bomb did not detonate. The bombers are still at-large.

What was the point of tapping the phones and internet again? WHY DID WE WASTE ALL THE MONEY DOING IT?

Bush can't even secure fucking Austin. How could anyone think he can secure Baghdad?
