I met my slave through CollarMe. We met about 18 months ago. I found her profile and her photos to be very appealing and wrote to her. Since she was brand new to CM, she didn't know about the Bulk Mail or about Mail Controls and hadn't looked in her Bulk folder at all, but when she learned about them (from a posting on the Message Board that she read), she looked in her Bulk Mail and in the 14+ pages of messages in there, she read my message and wrote back to me. She never was able to go through all the messages she had received, which was a stroke of luck on my behalf, since she might have ended up going with someone else. We spoke on the phone later in the evening, after chatting online for awhile, and spoke and exchanged emails over the following 3 weeks before we were able to arrange a meeting in person. She drove up to NC from GA (5 hours driving in the rain) and met me at a preset public place. When we both saw that each of us was what we had expected and we were comfortable with getting more private (in about 15 minutes after she arrived), she followed me to my apartment and I collared her then. She spent 2 days with me and then had to go back to GA for 3 weeks, before moving up to NC permanently. I have been her owner and Master ever since and she has turned out to be an even better slave than I had hoped for. I feel very, very lucky to have found her, to have been able to collar her and take ownership of her and to have her in my life.
I never had high expectations about a meeting through CM or any other site because I had tried for quite awhile to find someone and it never turned out too well. Still, I had high hopes and never gave up the search. It paid off and I have never been happier.
