ORIGINAL: openmindedslave The otherside of not showing up is what the dom feels.Rejection..anger... lied too...you name it.And yet so many people don't give a dam about when a dom is hurt!!!!! Isin't there something wrong here!!!! amen. the reason I'm taking myself out of all of this for awhile. And that's the crux of it - the no-shows build our cynacism (certainly it does mine), and makes it tougher for folks who are sincere both because of that cynacism and being on the receiving end of the cynacism. It's a nasty cycle. Because of it, I don't invest much in someone who's contacted me online - either they're ready to meet fairly quickly or move along. I also have a tendency to stay fairly detached and guarded well into the first couple meetings, but that's a wall I've had for a long time and not many people get past it. But someone who wants instant intimacy aint going to find it with me.
