Estring, Mod3 and silk. We are an army of three! Unstoppable! Let the revolution begin. Actually, I want to watch the Laker game, so let's begin after the game. [:D]

Thanatosian -> RE: Now I've Seen It All! (6/13/2004 12:41:46 PM)

try this on for size - no cell phone, no pager, and still use a rotary dial phone[:)] - and I always get strange looks from people when I tell them I work for the phone company[;)]

Lol. That is four now. [:D]

kaylin -> RE: Now I've Seen It All! (6/13/2004 1:23:30 PM)

No cell phone or pager here either. My oldest kiddo has one, but it's a good thing since it made the annoying contraption on the kitchen wall stop making noise so often.

I have a cell phone, it is required for my work. But they know I usually will not answer it, but will call them back. The most distrubing and scary thing I have noticed is the morons talking on their cell phones driving down the road. Arguing, or jesturing with their hands as they talk (really they are the sharpest pencils in that box, laughing). Or the worst is they are talking on the cell phone, drinking something, and applying makeup(I want to follow them to see where they keep their third and fourth hands). The fat and dead brain cell producters I don't own are televisions, and microwaves, but yes, I too have to have my internet, laughing. Sundew

You got SIX!

No cell, not even in my car. I don't wear a watch, either.

(This house does have seven networked Macs, though!)

Make that seven.

I don't really count because spoken word is not my forte anyway. Of course if my Mistress required me to get a pager, then you are down to six again.[:)]

proudsub -> RE: Now I've Seen It All! (6/13/2004 7:06:31 PM)

Ok now i think i'm seeing a correlation between this lifestyle and non cell phone owners.[:)]

(edited cuz the dang keyboard moved while i was typing)

rain -> RE: Now I've Seen It All! (6/13/2004 9:38:05 PM)

Hey there,

i don't have a cell phone either...while it would come in handy at times, it's more of a burden. Not to mention which, i just finished paying off a $500 cell phone bill, the m-f's charged me $200 for breaking the contract before it was up, (by 2 lousy weeks!)

i'm happy with my land line, i have voice mail that i can check when i'm out of the house, and most my friends have those cell beasts, so, i can reach them.

perverseangelic -> RE: Now I've Seen It All! (6/14/2004 12:15:27 AM)

no cell phone here either. sometimes it'd be nice, but mostly i see no reason for it.....

LadyBeckett -> RE: Now I've Seen It All! (6/15/2004 5:33:51 PM)

Cell phone??? Oh no!!! That is why they make answering machines!!! Leave a message after the tone, and I'll call you back! [;)] When I'm driving...I'm driving. When I'm in the Ladie's room...I'm NOT talking on the telephone, cell or otherwise! When I'm in a restaurant I am there to eat, and the only conversation I want to hear is that of those I am eating with!

Honestly those things have become a social hazard, nuisance, and other very annoying things. Why? Because people don't use them responsibly or courteously. They want to flaunt them..."look at how cool I am, I have a cell phone! Now you know where my money goes every month!" [:D] They make commercials about people like that. [>:]

italianalala -> RE: Now I've Seen It All! (6/15/2004 7:00:24 PM)

Add another one without a cell and who will decidedly never have a cell. My answering machine and my computer are enough ways for someone to contact me. Plus, will be getting rid of cableTV tomorrow.

Back to reading, writing letters and having someone to serve me.

Do I hear freedom ringing and it's not November 2 yet?

Sinergy -> RE: Now I've Seen It All! (6/15/2004 7:49:45 PM)

I got a cell phone for work in 1994, and have had one for work since then.

If it was not for work, I wouldnt own one....
