I'm going to my 1st fetish night next saturday and i'm not entirely sure what sort of thing to wear? I know the minimum dress code is all black to jeans, etc. I was wondering if anyone could help me out? thanks.

Hi,

I guess it depends... Are you out to the world about your interest in the fetish world? If so, then break out your best fetishwear and go for it!!

If not, I'd suggest just going with the basic black for your first experience. You'll feel more comfortable and be able to enjoy the whole experience more. And if you run into someone you know, you'll be able to make up some excuse as to why you're there without having to explain the outrageous leather / rubber / latex outfit that you're wearing! ;)

Either way, just go and enjoy yourself!!!

Always good to go low key the first time so you can get a feel for the group.

I remember one time we were going to a Polynesian-themed party. I showed up in grass skirt, spear, fake tan, wig, etc. Definitely one Polynesian-looking fella....coconut shell protecting the get arrested bits, even!

Turns out everyone else just wore a flowered Hawaiian shirt...DOH!
