The thought came for this after viewing the profiles of those in the US,and seeing the face of someone I felt I had to message complementing them on their looks, expecting nothing in return. Is there a particular appearance of a person that you are looking for,if so,where do you believe your idea of your perfect appearance comes from?

i actually have dropped people a quick note to say that they have incredible____ but i do this outside of online as well. I think it is nice to hear that someone thinks some part of you is outstanding...even if we don't know them..especially if we dont them and the stranger wants nothing in return.

I like red hair, and I mean RED. I do not mean orange, I mean RED.

However that is physical. I am more interested in what is under that hair. If I hear something like "Do you wike Awan Jackson ow Twavis twitt betta" generally I am totally turned off. I mean really turned off, to where it is hard to find it to take a pee.

Then again if she is butt ugly and fat, and comes up with "So you're the guy who believes in eugenics and Darwinian principles" I might give it a whirl.

I can go out in the street and for less than $50 have a fine redhead, but nothing is hasppening. Fun fun fun, but then that's it. I am 46 and really, those days are over. I fully appreciate a Woman who keeps in relatively good shape, shaves the middle of her eyebrow etc., I never said looks don't matter at all, but they are secondary.

But I think the question is seeking preference of physical attributes.

I don't like fat lips. Some guys do, but not me. I am not to attracted to a big hook nose, but I can get past it. I have learned what is important. Most importantly, I want WYSIWYG. Like the Outlaws "Green grass and high tides", 'will you let me past your face to see what's really you'.

I can't stand piercings, I tolerate earrings, that's it. I am totally against jewelry, but I don't expect perfection in that regard. As long as they don't have one of those hideous eyebrow piercings I can usually get past it.

I offend people all day long, and I hope this wasn't too bad in that respect, but a personal opinion was asked for, and I provided mine. This is all purely personal preference.

I don't have a specific idea of a perfect look. But there are certain attributes that I find attractive in other people. Not that I feel the need to do anything more than just admire from a distance.  I really like men with long dark hair. Tattooes and piercings are also on my hot list. But I don't seek specially men who look like that. I'm perfectly fine with just enjoying them as the eyecandy that they are.

Dress up like an EverQuest chick- but not an Ogre, Troll, Iskar, or Dwarf- and I'll sex you up so hardcore you'd think the Sleeper just raped you.

(Yes, I'm going through EQ withdrawls.. *shivers violently.*)

I have a specific idea in my head of what a man look's like.  Primarily because my father was a man.  He could take care of the family...etc.
I've always gravitated towards men who look somewhat like football players and over 6 foot minimum.

I have to say that any time a tall guy (6 foot or taller) who looks like he takes care of himself walks into a room, I am generally drawn to him. Broad shoulders and well defined muscle helps as well.

I think part of it is from my desire to feel little. I want to know that who ever I am with is going to be able to handle any thing that comes up, and these people give off that vibe to me.

Men with long hair are a huge turn-on.

Redheads. oh yes.... so lovely. I also tend to like petite ladies. And why do perfectly good looking ladies use too much eye shadow? ugh.

I tend to like two very different types of guys, ones with blonde hair, pale-ish skin (not sickly though) and very delicate features, high cheekbones, and big eyes are always a plus. (Think Elijah Wood and River Phoenix) But on the other hand, I love chubby teddy-bear guys with cute smiles, who cares about double chins.

Hi merrysbrat,

My solution. Marry the one you prefer the most, and make sure your hubby is ok with watching you with the other type of guy,  for sexual purposes only..

Haha, I love it! The 'marry Sean Astin, but sleep with Elijah Wood' idea...

Hi Merrysbrat,

That's my fantasy to marry a woman ...with the tradition relationship, caring, loving, intimacy, but who on occassion would love to have nasty hot sex (while I watch) with another man......for me it's like an afrodisiac.........especially if he is hung, black or young...I would  be all over that type of woman.....hmmmmmm!

Totally a most interesting topic !!
I always thought I'd go for the tall (as in over 6'2") and broad shouldered type of man with HAIR !!

I know I could NOT submit to a man shorter than myself...its just something psychological.....

I have a wonderfil 5'10" "small pettite" man...tis what his choices were on the profile.....to me He is 8 ft and swelling shoulders !!

i like women to have curves and to stand at least eye to eye with me. a chic that looks anorexic does nothing for me, and maybe that's shallow because some women can't help being that skinny. coloring of the body/hair/eyes/misc  is little to me, neither turn-on or off.           Phoenix
