I'm home alone and barking commands "in a vacuum" is just as exasperatingly futile for us Dom types, too! One small "advantage" though, no non-responsive partner to get appalled at my "domliness" in doing so.... *wink*

If humanity was so simple, then why is everybody not more happy? Why do people need more, and fight wars to get it? The objective fact is that the human brain is (and perhaps other larger mammal brains) the single most complex thing on the planet. I do not contend that life is simple. I find it to be infinitely chaotic.

The objective fact is that the above posters did not identify the points I made. Yet, you contend that they did not miss them. Which is it? Did they hit them, or not?

Please do not expect me to express my entire philosophy of life in response to every question. And PLEASE do not judge my experience of life based on one little short response to a single question. I believe I have afforded you the same courtesy -- here on this MODERATED forum.

I apologize if you feel "talked down to." My intention is the opposite -- to respect you as an equal human being.

Most wars are fought over religion; Africans seem to share their time equally between starving and breeding; American agencies meddle too much in the affairs of soverign nations; the planets choking to death - and on it goes.... Fortunately it's not my lot to weep or for all the misery in the World. If nothing else, it helps keep one sane.... And yet life is not simple for myself either, but I get on with it as best I can, like anyone else.

Lol, *both*! As to your actual point, it was uniquely yours. My objection was to what I perceived as being the condescending tone you introduced it with. The teacher is talking....
