Status: offline 		I purchased a FemDom vid on DVD called "Desires of a Dominatrix - 5".  Most of it was just OK.  There was one scene that made Me totally hot though - a sub on a medical table being bound by a sexy Asian Domina....along with some CBT and the way she used her nails to scratch him and the marks she left... whoaaa baby the boy and I love that one.
 
I haven't seen many others.  An interesting film is "Maitresse" starring Gerard Depardieu.  It does a good job of seeing the conflict a vanilla man has with his Dominant girlfriend.  There's also a scene in it that I HAVE to skip... can't watch it at all, being an animal lover.
 
Then there's the "Fashionistas" which has lots of cool fetish wear and toys but unfortunately not too many submissive men.

I never thought much about it until I read this thread, but I've always thought that cheesy 60s spy films and B-movies could often have hotter femdom content than femdom porn.  I never really thought about why, exactly, until I read this thread -- part of the reason might be that the male characters in those films are often strong.  Or at least they're strong until the femme fatale gets her hands on him and works her evil charms.  I like there to be a seductive angle to it.

Andrew Blake does fetish (but not necessarily femdom) very well in more mainstream porn, too.  I guess it doesn't hurt that his models are drop-dead gorgeous, but he (or his DP) could probably make a bowl of Rice Krispies look sexy.

My sub made an interesting comment, he said that most vanilla guys like to watch them, but are afraid that the wife will find out and freak. He might be right about that as he was a closeted submissive for a long time

Status: offline 		Hey, thanks everyone :)  there is definitely a lack of fem dom videos, or should I say quality ones, am glad I wasn't the only one to think it.  I agree with the poster who said it's about the mind, the ability to put yourself into that scene, feeling it, tasting it, wanting to be there for real, than watching someone simpering around with a bit of crappy dialogue.

They make a LOT of them, the problem is that most of them suck.

To interject from a malesub's POV... most Femdom videos are made, not surprisingly, for men. As a result, the focus is on the Domme and what She is doing, and the sub is kind of a set piece. So if you're a Femdom looking to enjoy the reactions of the male sub, it's not really there.

InsexM, when it was around, did a good job on focusing on the sub, and had some pretty hot (IMO) scenes... they pretty much carried over the style that they used in the Maledom/femsub Insex site- fairly heavy and challenging play, not a lot of chit-chat. i haven't seen a lot of DomKarin, but what i have seen was pretty good...  one sounding scene in particular

i do agree with the English Manor (Mistress Sidonia Von Bork... gotta play the "porn name generator" for a long time to get that one, i imagine), and Princess Kali from MIP (nice to see a Domme really having fun with what She's doing), also Janay from MIP.

There are tons of them but today most people just stream them via PPV from a company like AEBN. We lease feeds from them for sex slave academy full featured but they also have credit and minutes you can buy. I'm going to include links to free sample clips. I posted them on a page rather then here because its 66 different movies, all femdom.

Status: offline 		Some of the OWK are interesting for their pure FemmeDomme sadistic aspects but do agree they can get old quickly due to lack of dialogue (or that i don't understand Czeck).  FCV had some very good Femme Domme whipping videos out a while back with some reasonable atmosphere/dialogue depending.....Also a Domme named i believe Persepone out of LA has some interesting ones also---- but overall i agree there is a problem with them being either too staged, not genuine enough, or not showing a real M/s relationship in action so......

Status: offline 		i have to agree...the quality of FemDom videos is pretty awful...about 15 yrs ago, i was in 3 of them, and after seeing how they're filmed, it was no wonder.

The staging was so bad in the ones i was in, and the constant stopping and starting to get different angles, or because one person or the other didn't know what to say next, or the director having a change of mind as to how a scene was to go...it totally messes with whatever is going on.  On one of the videos, the two 'dommes' were little more than models with little actual bdsm experience...but they looked good on camera.

so if we wonder why the quality is so bad, one need look little further than this to see why.

Status: offline 		Some of the best that i have seen have been from Japan, though as with any place of origin there are some that are less than good.  But the good ones are great.  There is very little in the way of fetish clothes or other "props".  The ladies tend to look and dress like the girl next door.  Some of the most savage whippings i have seen were from there. It is rare that any of them seem to be "acting" a role...they seriously look like they are totally enjoying what they are doing.

Status: offline 		Nikkatsu followed up their production ZA SEKKAN (actually directed by now award-winning filmmaker Ryuchi Hiroki under the Go Ijuin psuedonym) with a couple of sequels supervised by Mary Aoi, quite a famous domme back in the mid-90's; she's also appeared in a couple of Shiko Shima video. Anyway, ZA SEKKAN 2 & 3 are among my favourite femdom videos. Sadly, that style employed in the 80's is not one used by those making the AV's today, and even when one finds good content the form is usually a letdown.

I should add that the subs are also women in these videos, so maybe they aren't strictly femdom videos. But they're as close as I get, becuase although I'm a male sub I only like watching female subs...anyone else feel this way?
