OK, I've actually met one man who was given the title Grand Master. It was a joke from a group of Masters who had earned their Master's Cover, Old Guard style. The man died last year in his late 80's I believe. He was Grand Master Pucket. The group was getting a little aged itself and since Master Pucket had been a Master long before any of them and had been many of their mentors when they were young Tops, they got together and presented him with the title Grand Master Pucket, mostly as a joke about how old he was. It was recieved in the manner it was given, Grand Master Pucket would get all flustered and tell you to just call him Mr Pucket, He is already sorely missed here, I wish I had gotten to know him better, from all the stories I've heard and read about the man he was a real gem.
