I know, I wasn't lumping all dominants into that catagory. Just the ones that feel the need to tell me that I need to leave my two year relationship to come and be their slave (ignoring the fact that I am a switch). I have also heard from very sweet people (both dominant and submissive) that have clearly read my profile (which is quite short) and wanted to make some sort of polite comment on it.

I know you weren't, siamsa, and wasn't meaning to imtimate you were. I guess I was using your comment as a springboard to make a point...

Again, who can tell you anything with any accuracy(such as leaving your two year relationship) when they don't even know you?? Those are not dominants, they are wannabe "chestbeaters".

I am Domme, and with all due respect, do you respond to every email that you receive from applicant subs? If you do, then, I daresay you are in the minority of dominants.

I think that Domme's get way more email than Dom's do! MrKite and I were talking about that last night. He said in a (put-on) sad/pouty way "I never get any email". I said I thought it was because female subs actually read the profiles and are too polite to proceed any further. I said, well, you could change it if you want mail! LOL He didn't want to do that [:)] .

So please females, Domme OR sub, send my Master email, it would make him so happy!

cello

Cello,

Is there anything you would like him sent?? lol. I will be glad to send copies of some of the outrageous emails I get, so he can fill up his box too, smiles.

I have seen on the boards from male dominants saying their mail amount is different also. Although new to collarme, and get MANY more emails from males than females, I will say when I get an email from a female submissive, they have been written much more thoughtfully, and I can tell they actually read my profile. (There has only been one exception, and I personally think she was probably trying to make money on the internet, even though submissive). And with the OP being part of a couple, they may not get a lot of mail also.

So, would MrKite like copies of the 5 that I have received today???LOL. I imagine he would decide he didn't want all the emails after all, since most of them are a waste of time to open...

I do realize you are not lumping all dominants in that group, but, you do realize we are not all like that? Any more than all submissives write thoughtless one line form letters....

She does realize that not all dominants are like that - I believe her point is that a lot of males (dominant or submissive) see a reply as a positive thing, even if it's a "no thanks, not interested" or "I'm taken" or ... whatever. I can't tell you how many we've had contact us repeatedly after telling the boy that we are not interested for whatever reason (if they do it more than twice, they get blocked, but still ... ), and I can't imagine that femsubs have it any easier ... it's probably much worse because they are submissive, so the same "Doms" who think that the two of us should serve them because he's a male dominant and therefore much more dominant than we could ever be *rolls eye* continue trying to talk to them because they are submissive and don't know what they really need *rolls eyes again*

Well now (laughs sarcastically) surely you have heard that we make the BEST submissives...haven't you??

And SweetDommes, I truly meant that facetiously with siamsa, i have been watching her postings, and have been impressed with everything i have read from her. I have even made remarks to others that did not treat her as courteously as they should have on the boards.

BTW, I have read your postings also, and think it's great that there are two of you, and get to thrive together in the lifestyle, smiles.

I think if you ever decided to meet with one of the deluded Doms, they would be in for the suprise of their life, (smiles sweetly and bats eyelashes)

It's ok, the only reason that I read everyone's posts on every thread is because there is nothing new to post on [:(]

I agree, please start a new one, smiles....

siamsa24 -> RE: Rudeness (5/4/2005 11:55:02 AM)

hehe, I have tried, they seem to die in a day or two

stormsfate -> RE: Rudeness (5/4/2005 12:14:04 PM)

Well try again...lol. I'm a thread killer, too, as often a thread will die shortly after I post to it...or if I start it, it dies even quicker. I'll tell ya what...you start a thread and I promise to post to it. I don't care if it takes up bandwidth (hey...I did offer to pay for it!), but I have entirely too much time on my hands at times and like to spend it here...but I need more food for though! Maybe we should start a gripe thread about that?

Post away siamsa!

FelinePersuasion -> RE: Rudeness (5/4/2005 12:26:07 PM)

These type of threads have been done to death. Yes it'd be nice if you could get a reply back even if it's a no, thanks but no. But bottom line is they don't belong to * general sense * you or answer to you they don't owe any one a responce.

Expesially not if some of the stuff they wrote about was out of the contact leage. Like if they said non married 22 to 40 y/o's and the guy's married and 44. I for one do not respond even to say no thanks if it's clear they've not read my profile, payed attention to it, or was out side the criteria.

It just comes across as really whiney when people say I email someone why don't you at least reply back. And strangely it's only the men complaining.

match2u -> RE: Rudeness (5/4/2005 12:33:17 PM)

funny, funny, funny to see everytime this theme comes up its gonna be a thread - just my two pence - smile -

as long as i know collarme is a site sharing our thuoghts, views, opinions, feelings in freedom dependent on the terms i agree when signing in

myself i learned so far here - it is a fact of compatibility -

so Iolair - in writing a note and showing up Your nature, Your being, Your style - there is no need that someone should reply - may You want it... yes thats fine
but thats like a sub/slave differ between the needs and wants - smile -

You Iolair have the freedom to show up Yourself in freedom - like You feel - like You are
everyone here has the same freedom too....and choose by themself to reply or not
its just as simple....

sometimes its fallen in place

... and i am sure about there is someone out for You, like for everyone too
thats a question about compatibility, time, etc....

honestly - who did had the luck to find the One without the journey?

hug to all

petra

LOL! The request was tongue-in-cheek really, since we were joking about it last night. He sees the mail I get, but if you have any really ridiculous ones I'm sure he'd get a chuckle from them.

It pleased him that I made the request... I DO try to make him happy [:)]

kc692 -> RE: Rudeness (5/4/2005 12:36:54 PM)

Good for you on the making him happy, smiles. You can tell him that the ones female dominants get are just as silly as the submissives get......lol

MrKite -> RE: Rudeness (5/4/2005 12:41:32 PM)

I'll take any and all emails you think are stupid, ridiculous or funny, Maybe I'll compile a book, get rich and donate more to CM.

And btw isn't she the best. I already got a few nice emails <kisssss> to cello

Kinkypupper -> RE: Rudeness (5/4/2005 1:11:29 PM)

And some find it the same when words are misspelled.
Just as some find that the words "not interested" mean that you should persue them further.

Top that off with your demand that the submissive be physically fit (when you and your mate are not) so that the slave will be "able to carry out the tasks of a slave in the home" and it sounds like you're looking for free labor rather than a power exchange dynamic.

Damn BeachMystress,
I love the way you think and that you have the cajones to say it. M

FelinePersuasion -> RE: Rudeness (5/4/2005 2:05:49 PM)

I wouldn't be interested in any one who demands I be pychically fit and they're not. Enough said.

Oh yeah, we got that one ages ago *if I roll my eyes any more they are gonna fall out LOL*

I actually suggested to Holly that we show one of them what he had stepped into (this was one that we had actually met face to face) ... but she decided that it would make him cry and she didn't feel like being quite that evil that night [sm=lol.gif]

kc692 -> RE: Rudeness (5/5/2005 3:57:30 AM)

I don't know...it's mean, but sometimes the only way to make an impression on that kind of person is make them mad or make them cry...I had an alpha come to visit that said he wanted to play together with two submissives I had, which sounded like a fun idea at the time. ( He had skills I wanted to learn, and I had the subjects to use for the training, smiles). When he arrived though, he had some skewed idea of a 3 tiered level, him at the top, me in the middle, subs at the bottom. He tried to take over, in typical bullish way, When he left, he was very angry, and my two subs were sitting at my feet. I didn't have to tell them anything. When he started ordering them, (and me), my two girls clustered up at my feet, asked me did they need to listen to him, I stated no, and that was that. He was very angry, and stated "but I AM ALPHA". Sheesh,,,it made an impression though, smiles.

kc692 -> RE: Rudeness (5/5/2005 3:59:38 AM)

BTW, has anyone besides myself noticed the OP hasn't made a peep as of yet?????

stormsfate -> RE: Rudeness (5/5/2005 5:23:27 AM)

Maybe because he got jumped all over for expressing his feelings. I happen to agree with him in part...and in theory. I also happen to agree that its been discussed to death, but he must have missed those threads.

I don't generally waste the energy it takes to think about it anymore when someone doesn't respond to an email I send them...EXCEPT when it was instigated by them and they don't acknowledge it...lol. For example...someone posts a request for help with something. Moi, being the nice person that I try to be, offer to help and receive not so much as a garbled no thanks. Guess it just goes to show that no good deed goes unpunished.

best regards,
f

I agree with you... I think its rude not to say ty if someone helps or tries to but have a funny story on it... someone sent me an e-mail with some help, I sent one back saying ty, they replied with yw and some more help and when I thanked them again I got an e-mail asking if I had to have the last word! [:D]

Oh how funny! I guess its true then...you just can't win. I've changed my position then...maybe its better if I don't get a response afterall...lol.

best regards,
f
