Yes, maybe your right, perhaps we are all seeking a karma that we know we all want, but is not achievable, now thats scary!

I don't think that's what she meant....   Look around at all the couples that do exist- obvioulsy such a relationship is achievable for many. 

A rule of karma is what goes around comes around.  Give off negative vibes, and you will get them back with gusto.

I wasn't specifically thinking of karma.  Maybe more along the lines of good things come to T/those who wait.  My personal belief is that there is someone/s out there for everybody.  At the same time, not everyone is for everybody else.  With both being true, it means the right fit is out there, it just might take some time to find it. 
 
Patience can be difficult at times.  I know that's true in My case.  Hopefully, it will eventually pay off.  Maybe the payoff will be even better because I had to wait for it.  Maybe I'll appreciate it even more.  At least, that's what I'm trying to tell Myself.  *Laughs*

I returned to full time work this week after almost 2 years studying and travelling.  So thats why you haven't seen as many of my posts - too exhausted to go online!

Last week my submissive surprised me with a long weekend on a tropicial island on the Great Barrier Reef.  It was a gift to celebrate finishing my Masters and getting a job.  He spoils me

Tonight we had dinner at my place with 4 other dominants and their subs/partners.  It was great fun and my submissive made me very proud.  he has been with me 7 months now and is a really nice guy as well as a good sub

I am happy.  Happiness is fleeting and rare in my life so I will just enjoy it :)

Hello Everyone and I am so glad the weather is finally warm.
I am dating a potential submissive and getting to know him.
I prefer to date first and get to know men well, prior to any type of "play".
Hopefully next month if things work out, I might have a new submissive toy.

my doctor's visit did end with me back on my zyrtec, and on lexapro for my depression - and just an fyi for anyone who is on both, don't take them at the same time [&:] ... I did and slept for 12 of the next 15 hours after LOL.  I have a better system now though, so I should be good.

finger is feeling better, still hurts to put any pressure on it though, so I'm still typing one finger short, which is a pain - but another week at most, and I'll be fine.

we keep thinking that we hear our dog barking somewhere just north of our house (she has a rather distinctive yip/bark when she's excited) so we have a suspicion that someone decided to keep her.  We just have to figure out who it is and then get her back.  If we don't, I'll be looking for a pair of applehead Chihuahuas ... anyone have any for sale? LOL

Hello Ladies and those who worship Us,
 
I am struggling along to the end of the Spring semester,
mentally fatigued and just wanting it to hurry up and finish
so I can go back to work and move into a different apartment.
My neighborhood has gotten way too rowdy and noisy to stay
any longer.
 
The fatigue is also from seasonal allergies, so I have to counter
the lack of energy with iced tea and Diet Cherry Cokes to keep
myself working until finishing these design projects.
 
Both of my slave boys are good, nobody is sick or injured
at the moment, no major drama.  In that I do have peace of
mind.  Oh, and my mom is coming out to visit this summer,
get out of the heat of the Mid-West and we enjoy each other's
company very much.  But that means I am going to have to
hide a whole bunch of stuff...if you know what I mean!  [;)]

Sure thing!  They get to help with packing and lifting and moving and sorting. 
But mom is nosey and inquisitive and asks many embarrassing questions, as only mothers can do!  lol

Mia - I have no idea why anyone would steal her, other than she's pretty and friendly, and intact so they could breed her.  Honestly, I can't believe anyone would keep her even if they did steal her - she doesn't have enough fur to be an outside dog for another few weeks, she's not very well housetrained (much to my continuing dismay) and she eats EVERYTHING ... including more than a few things that aren't edible.

This is the first roll call for me as well, although I've been here for quite a while.

My extended houseguests have moved on.  I relish the silence I sometimes find in their wake.  Hubby and I are doing great, very open with one another, and he's taken to complimenting me more instead of just assuming that I know he thinks I'm wonderful, which rocks!  I met a girl here at CM who makes me feel differently than any other prospect to date, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.  It's exciting to explore something that just feels good/right instead of the whole frenzied xmas morning craziness that too often fizzles as quickly as it started.  We rearranged the living room with new (to us) furniture and a much more open floorplan.  I'm enjoying it a lot more, and our regular company has seemed more at ease, as well.  Now I've got to start working on organizing the guest room/storage cave so that if things work out with the above-mentioned girl, I'll have a place to put her...

My curious boy has been following this thread and was telling me today how fun it is to read what people are doing in their real lives. So I am posting here for the first time in honor of his snoopiness and our 3rd anniversary.

Work, working out, banjo, "Heroes", loving spring, movies and trying to read "Caesar's Women". That's it, things are great.
