I believe that those who are content with a system (such as vanilla heterosexual manogomy) are more likely to be at peace. Those who begin as lesbian are more likely to gain weight due to stress due to social pressure. Those who begin overweight are more likely to consider alternatives (e.g., their own gender) and embrace new systems despite social pressure.

The health points lesbians may lose for being larger (if indeed this is true), could likely be more than compensated healthwise by their having relationships with women, who often are more nurturing, compassionate, and less judgmental than the male gender, thus trading in being heavier for being happier and less stressed. Studies often look at one issue, when if looked at as a whole picture may not be an issue at all. Scientific studies deem married (to males) women heavier than than unmarried women, so perhaps married women should consider this "health risk" as well.
