ORIGINAL: meatcleaver The mistake you are making is in thinking the nation state is a stable and unchanging entity. The idea of water tight borders is a fairly modern idea, to a degree countries have always had porous borders and shifting boundaries. While practical border control is a necessary filter, it only slows down change but doesn't stop it and it is probably not desirable to stop it. National renewal through new blood and ideas can be a major asset if embraced and channeled in a positive way. If western countries try to become unchanging monoliths they will end up in decline like muslim countries which see any new blood and ideas as a wholly negative thing. China is a stable, unchanging identity, and it has been a world power (in some manifestation) for unbelievable period of human history. Your "new blood" comment is not without it's merits, though. Considering the Irish or later the Germans and Italians who came here and broke their back to LEARN THE LANGUAGE and BECOME AMERICANS, your point has substance. But these latin parasites are here to exploit the economy for their own selfish interest, and the idea of becoming Americans is NOT on the agenda. Ethnic cultural diversity of this kind is not the melting pot image of Americana we romantacize and wax nostalgically about. This is the kind of shit that makes the Balkans such a horrible place, and it will serve to ignite a some major ethnic tension in the future. Case in point: KKK membership has gained 40% strength over the past 7 years. We forget the lessons of Hitler's ascension so quiclky. When the government refuses to act and the sting can be felt sharply enough in the households, even the kook(k)s start making sense. If the population was muslim (as your immigration suicide is shaped), we would already be seeing some intense flare ups. One of the saving graces for the Mexican invaders is that their Christian culture agrees with the sensibilities of this country's heritage.
