Since I'm new here, I figured the least I could was introduce myself, since this, or at least it just seems to me, is an actual community of people who do recognize other people, rather than just being some random internet site.
I'm right in Washington, 18 years old and new to the scene with ambitions as a sub. Not quite sure really what to say, though that's not a worry since all it takes is a little bit of conversation to get to know people. Until then though, just making a post for the first time in a forum I'm not used to feels like talking to a new crowd of people I don't know. So I'll stop talking.. writing. I look forward to getting to know some of you, but if i don't then, well I'm not sure, thats something I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Hello to you as well, OrangeCitrusSoda.

This certainly is a community, and like any community there are the good and the bad, the honest and those not, the sweet giving folk (dom and sub) and the users.

I think it was a very good idea to just introduce yourself.

As you talk to others in the scene you will learn more about what you really seek, and about what you are OK with. You will also leaarn more about your own personal limits, which will change from time to time but which must ALWAYS be respected by others.

Consensuality is the key seperating all forms of BD/SM from all forms of abuse. Consensauality equals the full knowing adult consent of all parties involved to everything which is permitted to take place.

I would recommend that you take in all that you read and all that you are told as "data", with no value judgement about truth or untruth until you are able to make an informed decision about it. Of course you do not know me, so data from me needs that treatment too.

No matter what label you decide to wear, no one has any right to give you any orders or commands until you knowingly grant them these rights. Anyone trying to trick you into obediance is one that is not good to be with. Even if you knowingly offer submission to someone, your limits must still be respected and you can withdraw that submission at any time, with nobody's permission.

Hope you find these thoughts helpful, be safe and enjoy!

Thanks, I'll have to make sure to remember to keep that in mind
