When I first met my Master, we did have vanilla sex. He knew I was new to the lifestyle and wasn't sure about getting into it. The more research I did, I knew it was something I wanted to do. He didn't command me to call him Master, and he took everything very slowly. He still asks me first what I have found that is new to try, if I haven't found anything new, then He will try what he knows. I thank God every day that Master has gone slow and has let me grow into the lifestyle so that I will enjoy it.

Maybe it's just my inexperiance or my cultural background, but I don't see anything wrong with using "Sir" as just a basic title of respect for what the Dom you are meeting might represent. I wouldn't take it any farther than that, just a basic form of address that doesn't connotate any form of subserviance to him on your part, merely a basic level of respect for what he's at least claiming to be.

And it doesn't even have to be that respectful....ever listen to police taking a drunk and disorderly into custody?

"Not acting the part of the true submissive..."

Anytime I see or hear words like "true" I think "guilt trip." I don't think the word "true" should just be thrown around with no justification...

I think throwing those words around is just manipulative, personally. ie. you're not a true submissive because you won't do exactly what I want when I want it ... AND we've just met five minutes ago.
