Status: offline 		I've seen there are complaints about other chatrooms, and I in no way am condoning those feelings, but since I planned on doing this anyway I figured why not bring it up here to get some help. I've alot of experince running large groups of people and staff for online adult groups and so I thought I'd put my experince into play here. Im hoping to make a place for both Masters and Mistress alike, and for all manner of submissive. A general lounge enviroment with the insentive to bring back old BDSM respect and ground rules without abusive mods and with a simple guidlines for behaviors and manners.

Im thinking of naming it the The Late Lounge, an open place to help others and for young people in this lifestyle like myself to grow and learn togeather from, hopefully, older Doms and Subs who might grace us with thier time.

I want none of the following:

Those with Top's disease. I in now way care if your "famous" or "well known" all I care is that you earnestly want to help and have respectfull opinions and advice to give, not "my way is the only way" sorts.

Attention Whores (enough said)

Those who have a grudge to burn about another chat or person or even those in the lifestyle who seem to have something against the lifestyle they are in.


If intrested in helping out, since I don't know how to use the chat features here quiet yet, or suggestions and ideas Im all ears. Why not stop complaining and help make the chat feature a nice thing again?

The description for the chat rooms? Whats the command for setting it up? I didn't see a place for putting it but see the other chat rooms with it.

someone here creates!
I think this is a marvelous idea!  It could be a lot of fun and it would be a great place
for those of us that post here and those on the other side to hang out and chat.
Please keep us updated, I look forward to it!

Status: offline 		Will love to keep you guys up todate. I've only had it up for short spans becuase my laptop dosn't like staying on too long at the moment. And still can't get any info on the details of how the java chat works, especially how to set a description. NOT how to name the chat, like at the bottom of the chatroom window. I need to know how to set the DESCRIPTION of the chat.

/topic whatever you want the topic to be

I don't know how to create a permanent room or of CM allows that, so as far as I can see the room only exists as long as someone is in there

Status: offline 		A place for both Mistresses and Master's to come togeather to chat casualy and discuss training topics. Sub's are incouraged to come learn and also people new to the lifestyle. All manners as usual, no PM's without permission and a place to help bring up a new generation of  those in the lifestyle, a room for experinced and greenhorn alike.


How do you guys feel on that topic title? I'll be on most of today if anyone wants to drop by.

I use to IRCop on a 'nilla server

<edited to include content>

looks like CM does provide both nickserv and chanserv...
if you grab an IRC client like MIRC (if you are on a windows box) you can /msg chanserv help and it does give you the options to register a channel
That way the topic will hold and you can set your chanops and other settings

I have had problems with two things.
Disrespectful subs and Disrespectful young Dommes. 
It is not the chat rooms.  It is the people that is coming from other sites into Collarme that is causing all of these issues.

Status: offline 		Disrespectful people exist all over the Internet.  That's why chat rooms and forums like these are moderated.  It's easy enough to do on IRC.  It doesn't matter what their sexual orientation or preference is...even vanilla people are disrespectful.  So to say it's just young Dominas and subs is an overgeneralization.
