I think the venue is called " Thunder in the Mountains".

A Dom friend of mine has spoken of this event in the U.S. Can anyone give me information on it? Have you been there, what did you think of it. I'm wanting to plan a suprise for Master.

any help or info greatly appreciated.

It's in Denver, CO, I think this is the third year, http://www.thunderinthemountains.com/main_frame.htm.

It's a fairly inexpensive event but due to the distance it's hard for us to make it. I've heard fabulous things about the event and the dungeon.

However, there's TONS of events and such going on all over the place. My next big one is in MD called Leather Retreat, 4-6 days of being in cabins, free to do anything, anywhere. I know more about the east coast events than other ones.

This is 8th year for Thunder, I have been twice It is my favorite event to attend and I have attended alot of events. It is the most organized, most informative, and most certainly the most fun. I highly recommend it. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask me.. Also don't hesitate to use the information on the website, the people who plan this are extremely helpful and understanding.

Many thanks for the web link emeraldslave and thanks to Ms Edna.

I'm hoping to plan it for next year. It's a bit of a hike coming from the U.K. My Dom friend has raved about it so much, i think it's his 3rd or 4th yr of going. He's usually found with a cane or 2 in his hands. He's not online much and is always off galavanting somewhere so infomation is greatly appreciated.
So; fingers crossed i pull it off and suprise the hell out of Master.

You could always come closer to DC's big convention in November, Black Rose.
