I understand that stealing other peoples pictures and passing them off as you online has a long history. But these people who have pictures that were obviously taken from a professional bdsm site and then badly cropped to cut the logo off. Or even worse, these people who have five pics on their profile and they are obviously of four different people. The other day I saw a picture of my neice on someones profile. She's a model and there are pictures of her around the net. And this person (guy possibly?) got several of her pictures and had them up as a Dominant Female. Of course I emailed the profile and now it's gone, but it made me think all the harder about people doing this. (And before anyone suggests that maybe it was her and I just didn't know about that part of her life, she's not in the community, but about six months ago she, knowing of my involvement, asked me if I knew anyone who would treat her like a filthy whore in the bedroom but be nice and loving in everyday life. I told her that such a thing was suprisingly hard to find even in the community from what I hear.)

You seem to be having a lot of issues with profiles.

You're spending way too much time asking why people online act like people online.

All I have to say is:

A) Don't tell her people are using her pics unless you know it wouldn't freak her out.

B) You should her tell that actually such people do exist. Valyraen calls me a nasty whore during scenes and sex, but is very sweet to me during everyday life. He is still definately in charge, but he respects that I am an intelligent woman who has valid opinions of her own. Sometimes he even buys me candy

All opinions are that of Aqua and should not be taken in the place registered doctor's advice.

(Ok, I'm feeling a little goofy this morning! )

Sheesh.  People can be involved in bdsm without belonging to *the community* (whatever that is)

An attractive women who wants to be used and made to perform solely in the bedroom, but otherwise wants the a romantic, happy vanilla relationship otherwise? If only they were more common...

Plenty of 'em, around here; most call themselves "submissive".

They are certainly fooloing some people or the behavior wouldn't persist. It is a really silly thing to do though in my personal opinion.

P.S. Can we see photos of your niece? I happen to be a very polite and gentleman-like individual who would like to slap a lovely girl such as your niece around in the bedroom. hehe.

P.P.S. I am just kidding about asking for the pictures. Not kidding about about the second part of my P.S.

P.P.P.S. I just wanted to write a P.P.P.S. so I could have three Ps in a row.

Funny story: A friend of mine signed up on here. She's a very attractive lady. One Dom (local to us) kept insisting that she had stolen her photo from someone else. Kept sending her email telling her that he was going to talk to her friend to whom he thought the picture belonged. She ended up blocking him and we got quite a few laughs over it. I suggested that maybe we should meet him so he could apologize face to face.

Hmmm, i think most long term 24/7 D/s relationships are like that.

Personally, I don't mind it if people use my pictures to represent themself, but it really bugs me when other people use my avatar.

Now, I know it's not 'mine' to have, but it really throws me off to see posts of mine that aren't mine.

Does that count?

Jeff

I keep getting email in several different names, but they are all the same picture. Do you think he can't remember he already wrote to me?

Since your niece is a model, then one can expect such to happen to the photos she has been paid for...As for all else you have written..all I can say is bypass those profiles that you find unacceptable..and get on with life..Tempting
