Yes, you're wonderful, I want one. :) But I wouldn't want someone to spontaneously do more than I had asked for. I've had a few unpleasant incidents with well-meaning people who "organized" my desk so I couldn't find anything. I would advise you to propose your ideas to the woman receiving your service. "Wonderful" service is in the eye of the beholder, after all, as LadyPact wrote. I'm all for noticing ways you could improve and asking about them--and gracefully accepting "no" if that's the answer. Have you noticed, when tidying her kitchen, that she's nearly out of milk? Don't run to the store--perhaps she doesn't actually drink much milk, and she bought that for a special recipe or for a guest, so more milk would go to waste. Instead, at a convenient time, remark that you noticed that she was nearly out of milk and ask if you might fetch her some more. I would echo Action's point--do the tasks you are assigned with great attention and precision. If you're asked to vacuum, move the furniture, (and put it back!) and get into all the corners. Monica
