We often put on performances in the clubs. These can be anything from a public flogging of a lowly wench, full on flesh hook suspension to something very cabaret like.
I am looking for new ideas and would like to go along the lines of D/s as I feel we really lack this sort of performance in the clubs.
The performance has to be fairly condensed. We have found that you can keep a captivated audience for about 20 minutes before they lose interest and want to go back to playing.
Has anyone got any ideas ? are there any exhibitionists in the London area that would be interested in taking part in something?

Thanks for your reply eathycouple.
We always have a scaffold and winch and this in turn tends to attract the more accomplished rope Mistress/Masters. Suspensions seem to go on throughout the night.

Ill tell you what we have done

Rope suspension
Knife play
Birching and caning scenes
Cabaret with a kink
Flesh hook suspension
Needlework and sutures!
Fire play
We have done interactive audience participation stuff like
Worm race
Auctions
Pin a tail on the donkey.

We have done performance art
Last month someone on here gave me an idea. I don’t remember who it was so if your reading this I send you a big thank you. I needled a rose vine onto a females body. It looked amazing and she said afterwards that every rose symbolized a special person she had met on the scene, each leaf symbolized an experience and the branch was her journey through those experiences.
In August I am doing a chakra piercing performance.

What we are really looking for is something much more verbal. We have not done an interrogation scene and wonder if we could condense it down to 20 minutes. A humiliation performance would be great because its something you see so seldom but its going out to a fairly wide audience, so it has to be fairly unique and well thought out.

I'm not sure I understand what you are looking for. A D/s demo? Can you give examples?

Well an interrogation performance could be classed as D/s.
A performance where verbal is being used more than actions

The trouble with making a show of d/s (i.e. inequal authority, obedience) is that it requires a context. You could show obedience by asking the bottom to do something and then observing that he did it, but you need more context to establish that he wouldn't have done it anyway.

Elegant, perhaps ritualized service. It's somewhat showy--although it doesn't strike me as a club thing, but then again, I very rarely visit clubs. It's still not properly showing off d/s, but it might be closer to what you want.

Mental bondage or position holding, maybe. You could emphasize the "ropes of self-discipline" quality by asking the bottom to hold a difficult position, and then the bottom could communicate his or her distress before the audience.

Interrogations aren't exactly d/s in my mind, but according to your last post, you want verbal things--and interrogations certainly put more emphasis on the mental and verbal than the physical.

Humiliation or degradation play is verbal, too.

I once saw a humiliation performance some years ago that kind of blew my mind. I can’t really copy it because I like to be original but this to me was the ultimate in humiliation.
The club is a well known London one and had to have an audience of about 1000 people.
A general took two female prisoners on stage, stripped them naked, shaved their heads but left horrible bits of stubble sticking up, shaved their pubic hair and then glued the hair in a number formation onto their chests.
One girl started to cry but she didn’t pull out. I was so homed in on her utter humiliation that I have never stopped thinking about that performance.

Im such a worry!!!
