People call them girls because they act like girls half the time.

Please frame your comments using "I" instead of "people" or "we" or whatever group that includes me.

I dont even refer to 8 year old female students in my kid's classes as "girls."  Not because I necessarily think anything is particularly wrong with the word, but as a few african-american people I work with pointed out to me, words like "girl" or the n-word have negative connotations to a specific group of people I am not a part of, and saying it is wrong of them to object is making a judgement about them without walking a mile in their shoes.

I realize the girls get far more email than the men

Your theory won't get off the ground here, pal. I get more mail than all of them added together. My secretary hasn't had a lunch break in 4 months dealing with all the correspondence.

If she is anything like the secretary from the movie bearing that title, I bet there are plenty of things involving her that keep you from answering your emails...ha ha

That is too funny!  At least you are showing class with that wine....is it red or white wine that goes well with cheese and baguettes...hmm...I think it is white wine but I am not a sommelier. Oh well, I digress.

To the OP, I try to answer emails but I think I am a little old to be called girl and some emails deserve no response from me when they are rude.

FatDomDaddy -> RE: Why are girls here... (5/5/2007 11:09:05 PM)

I generally get replies to the messages and e-mails I send here. On the average, most of them are very polite and respectful.

Sorry, but when a female puts in her profile that she wont respond to someone unless they are rich, thats not a woman in my opinion. That is a gold-digging, spoiled, immature, little brat. And if you scroll through the women on here...at least 60% mention money or tributes or needing large paychecks somewhere in their profile.

I just find it sad that this lifestyle has been reduced to money. Whatever happened to play, fun, or dare I say....love? It doesn't seem to exist anymore...at least not online.

If she's included it in her profile she's done all the legwork for you. No reason to contact her... because she obviously doesn't suit your needs.

I don't understand why some people complain about an honestly written profile. If I found a profile stating that something I found objectionable was pivotal for the formation of a relationship that's one less email I need to write or respond to.

Cyberdude?  Perhaps, it's your nick...cyberdude...give me a break.  Perhaps it's cuz you don't have a profile?

ummmm i don't know ...maybe because you refer to them as girls and not as women

Personally.... I see nothing at all wrong with the term ''girls'' - It’s how you use it....that matters. I talk to all kinda ladies, and two of them on this message board I call ''girls'' -- One I even refer to as ''baby girl''. It's done in a very playful, affectionate and sometimes teasing manner. It's never disrespectful or in a way that berates or talks down to women.

I love the term ''girl''  ''girls''   ; }

sambamanslilgirl -> RE: Why are girls here... (5/6/2007 4:22:52 PM)

only one person may call me "girl" - everyone else is denied that right even if it's done playfully and/or affectionately

Why are the girls here so very rude?  I realize the girls get far more email than the men but when one takes the time and effort to write a sincere email to someone- even a short one- and the girl hasn't the common decency to respond with at least an acknowledgement, well, it just makes one wonder.

Just wanted to get that off of my chest.

Why are the boys, masquerading as men, here so rude?

Why don't they have the common decency to not disrespect my relationship by trying (OVER AND OVER!!) to steal me away from my dominant? Why don't they have the common decency to not become insulted when told politely, "Thanks but no thanks"?

Because assholes exist everwhere.

FelinePersuasion -> RE: Why are girls here... (5/6/2007 8:46:07 PM)

Hell yes I am in need of a good spanking, But My Dominant will do that for me:)

Don't mind the girls.   They're just little wee things in need of a good spanking.

I'm with you on that one.  It's all about how you use it.  From the right person, in the right context, being called a girl, especially in conjuction with another endearing, or perhaps tittilating phrase  (i.e.- "my slutty little girl" always gets me hot) can send a lovely little tingle up my spine.  From the wrong person, or in the wrong context, it pisses me off and is demeaning.  It takes a very specific scenario for it not to make that rotten little demon pop up on my shoulder.

And to the OP, girls don't like you because you don't play nice and you have a small pee-pee.
