Status: offline 		I've found myself hiding people when going through the profiles on the other side.  Anyone who says they only want slim 20-somethings, especially if the person in the profile is 40-plus is definitely hidden.  I don't even want to mistakenly view their profile.  Sometimes I hide people if their picture or profile gives me the 'creeps'.  Does anyone else do this?

Status: offline 		I don't hide users but my search criteria for men only shows me males between
36 on up, I rarely read the profiles of the younger men.
When I read female profiles I set the criteria for 19 on up.

Status: offline 		          I think I've used that button once.  It was probably a fake profile, somebody's idea of a joke, but it was just a bit too creepy, and I didn't wish to encounter it again.

Status: offline 		lol... okay, I'll admit that I can be a bit obsessive/compulsive when it comes to certain things.  Yes, I do hide profiles.  When I log on to CM, the only profile I care to see is FirmhandKY's.  I have my search criteria narrowed as closely as possible to ensure that, but there are a couple of dominants whose profiles fall into those parameters... so I've hidden them.

Status: offline 		Yes, I have some hidden users.  These are subs who "blew it" in one way or other during the getting-to-know you process, e.g. applied to me as a submissive but had a secret dominant profile that I discovered, failed to live up to committments, lied repeatedly, cancelled an initial meeting three times in a row, etc.)  These individuals are out of the running with no hope of ever redeeming themselves, so I have no desire to have their profiles come up when I do searches.

Status: offline 		I have because I was constantly seeing the same names show up on the screen whenever I logged on, didn't matter what day or what time of day..there they would be..so I hid them. It allowed room for other, more interesting people to show through.

Status: offline 		I don't hide anyone.  I've never blocked anyone.  I keep my 'admirers' list up (my 'favorites' is so much shorter).

After I check email, I look to see who's viewed me, then I generally head over to the forums, if I have time.

Status: offline 		I've never done that either, hiding a user or blocking a user. I guess I don't really understand why people do, if I don't 'like' someone I just skip over them.
Maybe the diff is that I don't really read profiles unless a forum poster catches my eye? Only when I first joined did I go through lotsa profiles.

Status: offline 		I hide them by the thousands, you cannot set the search criteria in many ways that would be helpful, so as I find them and they are not acceptable, me or them--- I hide them (there is many bugs in the search and display as well) but in any case, not for reasons of distaste or anything  just because they are not in the realm of possibility, as I either find out by talking or by an inspection of the profile.

Status: offline 		I've only recently started using this feature. I frankly, get tired of seeing the faces of those who, as someone earlier put it, "blew it," in one way or other. If their profile doesn't contain a pic, I don't feel a need to hide `em. I just find it too incongruous viewing the smiling face of someone who either proved themselves to be far too rude for words or just a plain, ole liar.

Maybe, maybe not, because I hid almost everyone before I even met my babygirl... my list was empty except for new people and people that changed their profiles.

Damn!  I am a bit surprised that you would even give them 3 chances, bah humbug!

You are more forgiving than I am, and I applaud you for that.    I would (at the very most) give 2 chances, and that's a maybe, lol.


As for my answer to the OP, I have used it sometimes, but for those annoying profiles that always seem to be on my screen that give me the heebie-jeebies...
