We've all been hurt at various times in our lives. At some point, you've got to 'dust yourself off and get back on the horse again" so to speak. Just be honest with the woman you're in contact with, as hopefully she is doing the same with you. Asking her if she'd like to meet for coffee or tea at a modest restaurant would be a good way of showing her that you're reached that point. The coffee or tea idea can be a good alternative to use as opposed to lunch or dinner. That way, if there's a lot of discomfort or absolutely no chemistry, neither has to stay as long as they would if there's a meal being served. However, if things are going well, you can always suggest that since you're there and having such an ejoyable time, the two of you have a meal together. There are many alternatives and lots of flexibility. Be sure to pick someplace very public where she'll feel safe, yet private or secluded enough that the two of you can talk without everyone in the place hearing every word of your conversation. [:D]
I speak from experience and met my Mistress on CM. Our first time meeting each other was lunch at a restaurant. Go for it, you've nothing to lose by asking. [;)]
