as most may know, a few months ago I had some problems on another forum where I was verbally attacked. I was called many thing like a con artist, a man and many other things. these insults came from dommes and slaves that are very well known. these respected people lied about me saying they had proof of their claims about me yet they never showed
such so called proof. now why would some people believe the lies without seeing the proof to back it up? because the dommes telling the lies said its true?
they did this all because I refused to reveal my real photos and
refused to open up my vanilla life to the public. what I do in my private life is no ones business. I refuse to go in circles over and over again on why I'm disabled or why I cant do this or that, again it is no ones business. now my big question here is, in a lifestyle that preaches both acceptance and unity why did no one who knows me and my background not stand up and say something when I am sure they read what was being done to me?

i don't think it's reasonable to expect others to stick up for you.  There could be many reasons, maybe they did not want to add to the drama?  Maybe they felt it was so ridiculous there was no need?  Maybe they felt you could handle it yourself?  You can't control what other people say or what other people choose to believe. If someone believed lies about me that were said on a message board, and they had no proof of what was being said, all i would have to say is thank you to the perpetrator in helping me weed undesirables from my life.

Well, since I have no idea what went on beforehand...I can only answer the question posted. I don't know these people that "knew" you.

Maybe that was part of the problem. Suppose they didn't feel that they knew you well enough to step up on your behalf.

All that being said, this is an online forum. I expect no one, not even my Dominant to step in on my behalf. The moment that these forums affect me to the point that I am making a post months after the said "drama" occured is the moment that I hit the power button.

You are right. It isn't anybody's business. It's also nobody's business to stand up for you because nobody owes you any favors.

Honestly, I can't blame them for doubting you. You've got a great photo up, but won't send any of your real ones - even to those you are interested in. What do you have to hide? You won't meet people, you make a lot of outlandish claims about yourself that I highly doubt and I'm willing to bet my second-best collar that you can't and won't back them up. Why should anyone believe you?

I'm just amused by the list of people she claims to be related to. Who gives a shit anyway?

i try not to get upset by these things. i was once accused of being male because i did not know my dress size. Not pant size, not measurements, but dress size. The only consequence that i could see was that he made an ass of himself.
Try not to take the internet personal as there are some people that come solely to aggrivate others and to try to raise their self esteem by dragging others done. Come to think of it .... those people are in real life too. Head up cause it only matters what you think of you.

Now, that I really think on it...the topic of the thread. They were united, they just weren't on your side.

So, is it only unity if people agree with your ideas?

I'm not trying to be antagonistic...just wondering what your idea of unity really is.

Because getting involved in cyber drama makes the ones involved look like shit no matter how honest and truthful they are.

What gets preached about usually is preached about by people who mean "what *I* want is what SHOULD happen" and is hardly reflective of reality.  People like to talk about a utopia that doesn't exist.

There are apparently several rumors running around that I am Moderator 11 on CM.  I of course know this to be completely false and when people say that they have some proof of it, I laugh hysterically because it's not true at all so their proof can only be hilarious as well.

Making an issue of it would only make all of us look stupid.  It's cyber drama- no one really cares and in two weeks there's another drama to take your place.

There isn't as much unity on these forums as you may hope for; this much is true.

Just be who you are.  Remember why you're here and seek it.  Keep some dignity about you and be yourself, regardless of others.

Most everyone has an agenda.  A fair portion are arrogant enough to believe their own agenda is innately superior and that others are either valueless or futile and tout the belief that such alien agendas are to be ridiculed.

Those with similar agendas to your own will likely both contribute to your thinking and emotional well being far more than those with skew or oppositional agendas.  Those with complimentary agendas to your own will likely be your closest friends.

Actually...I don't...only on those that are blatantly misappropriated as to horrid grammar and punctuation.

(This one being a deliberate example).

And yes...I am.

Hey...some people have to wash their hands 38 times a day....this is my sickness....

Sue me.

(But at least let me know in advance so I can line everybody up).

And for the record...I know I use ellipses incorrectly.

Hello,

The only thing I can think of is perhaps they wished to maintain their anonymity as well.  Or like the rest of us try to stay out of mud slinging.

Your personal life is exactly that.  I do not open every facet of my life to every Tom, Dick or Harry.

As for acceptance....imho...BDSM'ers can be the worst offenders for accpetance.  We want to be accepted for our own kinks, but many are less or not willing to accept others' kinks.

Good luck in your journey,
soulful_kitten

Beats the hell out of me why no one defended you, but after reading your profile couldn't help but think that maybe you aren't all that and a bag of chips like you think you are.  But that's just my opinion.  Others may vary.
