I don't know why, but all of a sudden I am just intrigued by latex wear. Perhaps someone might venture a clue? It seems so popular outside of the USA.

I'm in Atlanta, any latex people here?

Latex can cause an alergic reaction. Make sure your body is ok with it first.
It is a natural rubber, however amonia is used as a thinner as well as water.
And pigment used could also cause a problem. We make some Latex goods, but only as a custom ordered product, and not fetish gear at all.
There was a very good thread on here that talked about this subject some time ago. Very sharp people added to it. Might be worth digging through the posts.

I love latex, love the look of it, feel of it and smell of it. I prefer to see it on others than to wear it, though I will admit I have not had that much experience with wearing it. Gloves and leggings are my favourite look, shivers... ty god for making latex. Ok, not relgious here so ty Mistress for making latex, giggle.

Give latex paint a try. Available at most adult shops. It often has a wierd smell... I'm no chemist, but I would use a well ventelated room. It's not nearly as durable as clothing, but lets you peel your partner like a fruit. Also, buy baby powder. If you're at all damp skintight latex can be very hard to get on.

I am a *huge* fan of rubber and latex. I got into that way before I even thought about BDSM, and still consider it my truest of passions. rubberist.net is a great information site as well, with tons and tons of forums. Also lustlovelatex.com. Both very good sites. As far as shopping goes, remember that you get what you pay for in that regard.

I have tried the liquid latex and it takes forever to dry and it doesnt have that same consitency. Its nice though and a great idea. TY all for the great sites!

Yes it takes time to dry...or cure of sorts. You can speed the drying time by adding white ammonia, but it will be thinner. I do not recomend using it on skin though. Ammonia is not a chemical to play with. We use it in making latex masks.

I have an odd infatuation with latex. I like to see it on others, but not covering the whole of the person. And really I like it most when it's functional, like a latex bottom so she can be teased everywhere but where it counts.
