America was great at one time. America can be great again once off-shoring and outsourcing are abolished. Mexicans have been immigrating to the US for years and it had no negative effect on the economy back then because there were plenty of jobs for both Americans and immigrants. America needs its good paying jobs back in order to become a great nation again.

1. Its not particularly overpopulated.

2. No aggressive, threatening neighbors.

3. Separation of Powers

4. Constitutional Rights

5. Rich in natural resources and agricultural land.

the profound outcome of this thread:

how iit almost seemed like a trick question- like "work" to come up with some good points.

The man/woman in the streets is simmilliarly worn down by the current regime.

Goverments use psychological tactics in war. for instance the dropping of leaflets.

the OP was not made exclusively to Americans. I did not look t every profile.

if the  matrix had to be diagnosed- it would be clinically depressed.

thru the dark cloud posts- there were a good number of "hay not so fast- the US still is great" posts.

perhaps our collcetive unbridled enthusiasm will shine.

America is one culture that folks from every corner of the globe have come. A young country.

So- I was abit surprised by teh "it is too late" tone on this thead.

lemme say this again. America is NOT bush.  bush is soon out the door. i am sick and tired of being sick and tired-

keep the hope alive.
