i think it counes down to one thing really.

We need to replace "politicians" with "Statemen".  Jefferson as an example was a true statesman who argueably operated in the best interest of the people of this country.

Today we have party politics, with every interest including self interest in office.

i believe if we can once again return to real and true statesmen we can change this country for the better.

But how?

Did we revolt when kennedy was assassinated?  NO!  Are we revolting now with our little ME war?  NO!

What statesman woudl want to put his ass on the line for us if "we the people" do not have have the balls to back him up?

Looking at it from both side it seems pretty hopeless to expect good government without good people behind them!

comment if you with.

It is not in their interest to listen nor in the interest of their clients who have paid them for their services. Anyone who thinks that politicians really care about the public just because they ask for your vote every four or five years needs to see a shrink. They have been bought the moment their name is on the ballot paper.
