Hello Sirs...I am new to the Lifestyle and have recently found that I LOVE the whip...It sends me flying high...I dont have a Master at this time and the only true times I am able to explore is if I am invited to a party...My question is this...How often is it exceptable to as a Master to play?...If you ask oftened is it rude or annoying?...Please if u could help me with this I would be greatly thankful.

I, personally, find it annoying. But then again, I'm not into "play-time" relationships. I see that I neglected to answer the other questions in my haste. I'm not one to play all the time. Once a month is about all I really like to do. Sometimes more depending on my mood. So my relationships don't revolve around playing.

Asking anyone to play with you is in my opinion very acceptable and quite a ego booster :-) It is also can be quite a challange for a submissive to come up to a "Dom" type person and ask them to play with you. but Please accept my comment that if done respectfully you will most always get a favorable reply.

I guess my situations are a little different since my former Owner and I had a rather unique relationship. When I wanted to play, I'd tackle or pounce him. He would get the point. LOL! Just ask him! As a previous poster stated, I'm sure he'd see it as an ego boost, as long as he wasn't busy. In that case, you would purr around at his feet until he's finished. Then pounce him!

As a fairly rabid single-tail Top, I find that there are not that many people who want to play at that level. So, for me, anytime I wasn't actually involved in a scene, or in the middle of an intense conversation, I would appreciate someone asking (respectfully) to play. On the other hand, more than once per night would be too much. :) HawkWolf

That's a bit like asking someone, how often do you like to have sex? it depends on the persons drive/need/desire when the person played last how good the last play session was the persons motivation/demotivation the persons health the persons day at work they had the list goes on. Then once you have those answers, a collar etc you'll find that over years, your mutual need to play will fluctuate, sometimes more, sometimes less. So really, its a question best asked of the person you wish to play with. At the time you wish to play. good luck, go ask him.

I would think that being asked to 'play' would be quite an exciting proposition. After all, if you're at a party for such a thing, aren't you there for exactly that? To play? And where's my invitation to such a party???
