Did you actually read all the way through? Because if you did, you would know that:
 
  • Harry kills Voldemort with his own wand.
  • Harry and Ginny get married and have 3 children-Albus Severus Potter, Lily Potter, and James Potter.
  • Ron and Hermione get married and have a daughter.
  • Draco gets married (doesn't say to who), and has a son named Scorpius.
  • Bill and Fleur get married and have a daughter named Victoire.
  • Harry actually did die but then came back and killed Voldemort. (What can I say-he's unkillable).

Harry killed Voldemort with draco's wand and that wand was recognized by the Elder wand because it the elder wand was taken by Draco. So it backfired on Voldermort.  Then Harry got the Elder wand for winning the fight. And it recognized Harry as its true owner now. He used the elder wand to repair his orginal wand in the headmasters office at the end of the book.  Ron and Hermione also have a son name Hugo. About the same age as Lily Potter.

My big question: just what the hell was that struggling, whiny, baby thing at "Kings Cross," at the end of the book? I took it to be the piece of Riddle’s soul that was in Harry (and got left behind when Harry returned) but I’m not sure.

Also the baby blob was Voldemort. If you remember after I belive the first book they show him as that baby blob before he drinks the unicorn blood where he starts to turn back into a so called mans body.

See, this is the problem with such an anticipated book - you read through it so fast that you end up glossing over details. I remember Colin came back into the Castle to fight but, HE DIED?!

I guess I'm going to have to read it again, slowly this time.

I think it was the fourth book that he was a "baby blob." In the first book he was an overgrown pimple on the back of Quirell’s (spelling?) head. Either or, it was things like that which made me think it was a piece of Voldermort’s soul. I just would have liked to have gotten that confirmed by J.K.

Colin dies off page. All that is mentioned is that h is among the dead in the Great Hall.

Whenever i caught myself starting to miss details, i would back track a page or two...and laugh at myself.

In regard to Colin.....Harry see's Neville and  Wood carrying his body inside...Wood takes over....this is when Harry asks Neville to kill the snake if anything should happen to him.

Also...something just popped into my head....Did Harry Kill V?      Or Did V assure his own death  by trying to kill Harry with the elder wand....which in turn caused  his curse  to rebound back upon himself.

I'm pretty sure Voldemort was killed by his own rebounding curse. Harry had used Expelliarmus, which is far from lethal.

I think it was a mix of both-the rebounding of Voldemort's Killing Curse and the fact that the wand was Harry's. We always knew JK wouldn't kill off Harry (hopefully).

I would have liked to see Harry and Draco become friends. Maybe Harry could spend a summer at Malfoy Manor living the good life. Snape was AWESOME! Him and Draco are my favorite characters.

I still think she shoulda killed off one of the 3 main characters...and Neville shoulda killed Bellatrix. Although I don't understand, Harry used Cruciatus the Imperius curse in the presence of other wizards and I think McGonigle used the Imperius curse too. So why didn't any of them use Avada Kedavra? Like when Harry faced Voldemort in the final fight...he uses Expelliarmus? What the hell is that gonna do against Voldemort? He can do magic without a wand lol

-- Voldemort's snake Nagini, which Neville killed.
