Goodness. Nail extensions = surgery? Hair dye= surgery? I'm not even gonna go there. I already do things now to improve and enhance my appearance. I am not perfect. I wear makeup. Perfect people don't need makeup to enhance the color of their eyes, bring out the hue of their lips, even out skin tone, etc. I actually kind of envy perfect people. Imagine never having to cover a blemish, or put on mascara to look just a little more bright eyed. That must be a time saver. I get my nails done to please my master, he likes them red, and only red. I'd prefer to be able to have other colors, but there are lots of shades of red. :) Now, I would still get them lenghtened did I not have a master, because not being perfect, my nails, quite frankly, suck. My hands are so much more attractive to me when I have a bit of length on my nails. I work out to improve my less than perfect muscle tone. Isnt it nice, now technology lets those less than perfect, improve? Laser surgery. Oh, to be hairless, efortlessly..... Would I have cosmetic surgery to please my Master? Yes. I am his slave, here to please him. I'm not insulted that he does not find me perfect the way I am. No offense to others who feel they are perfect, but that is not an attitude that I can embrace. I am not perfect. I am good. I am healthy. I like my body in general, but there are some parts that I would like to improve, and am striving to do so. If my master would find me more pleasing after plastic surgery, and felt that the benefits outweighed the risks, I trust his judgment. He is certainly qualified to make a knowledgable decision. I do honestly want to be as pleasing to him as I can be. That does not mean that I have a low self esteem. If that means changing parts of me, ok. He is with me because he loves who I am. My personality, my basic looks, my attitude, the whole package. That does not mean that he does not see room for improvement, and improvement does not change who I am at my basic core. I am ok with that.
