Joking and having fun when it's not against the rules is a shame?  How so?

I meant it would be a shame if all hell broke loose on this lovely thread :-). I suppose it depends on our individual conceptions of hell. Sometimes hell is fun, sometimes hell is... well, hell.

I have no idea what your concern is or how a thread created merely to be humorous would be effected negatively by people being humorous......the Mod has stated threads in this section are not as subject to the rule on hijacking.  That obviously doesn't mean that personal attacks are appropriate nor would I support such a thing.  Why would my humorous comment be taken as something negative?  Honestly, I really don't understand, not trying to snark here.

Laurell, don't even try to understand. There are many people who are looking to start problems where there are none, such as this thread. Obviously, there has been a feeding frenzy among posters these past few days. And, there will always be people who just do not "get" the humor of others, so in defense of not getting it, and in the pursuit of being snarky, they look to instigate.

Don't let yourself be baited into a discussion about it, you are so above that. Do what I am now doing, block and move ahead to the posts and threads that are worth it.

Now that I am blocking, my eyes feel so much better for not bleeding when I see certain posts.

Much as Prometheus gave mankind the gift of fire, and also taught mankind how to make and use tools. I have chose a similar path... He was chained to a mountain by Zeus, and every day, a vulture would peck and eat his liver, and every night, his liver would heal again so that he could endure that pain every single day....Prometheus got off easy.

The real question is...is Domiguy a true educated scholar of Greek mythology....or did he play God of War 2 before making this post?

Man... this is crazy... What personal attacks? Is it your intention to misread everything I write? Because that's how you come across. Take a chill pill, this thread IS fun, and I gloriously enjoyed it... until this sorry episode .

PS: Firmhand, where are you? This is your thread. Help!

Hey - does this mean that Domiguy was banned for awhile?  I LOVE THAT GUY.  I want to be the leader of the choir.. can we have robes?  we gotta have robes... all the girls have robes - we already established this on another thread.  and we can be nekkid under them to bow down and worship at the feet of darling Domiguy... ohhhhhhhhhhh.. falls on the floor fainting.

Sorry, kittin... I wore him out this weekend and he's now napping.

Allow me to "sub-stitute" for him...

Everyone must have fun in this thread and no one is allowed to be serious or be taken seriously.  That's the rule.

Anyone breaking the rule will be spanked by me.

... It's a dirty job, but one I'll do my best to do well.
