I was sent this after i kept asking questions at a dinner this weekend and i think it is really something we all should have handy

The D/s Cheat Sheet

The Rules: There aren't any.

How to be a submissive: Submit

How to be a dominant: Be a leader.

How to Choose a Dominant or submissive: The same way you would choose anyone to share your life. Carefully.

The difference between a submissive and a slave: Whatever you want it to be. You're going to believe what you want to anyway. (see The Rules)

How to get your submissive to submit: If you have to ask, consider this is not for you or you've chosen the wrong person for you.

Physical pain and D/s: No, you don't have to. No, it doesn't make you less submissive/dominant.

Submission is a gift: Keep in mind we've all gotten crap gifts over the years. Gifts we've thrown away or exchanged. Like beauty, submission is in the eye of the beholder.

The mindset that submissives should be cowed to 'or else', is absurd. "Do what I want or I won't submit"? Get over yourself.

haven't you heard it's just plain crazy to submit-period-end of sentence? and totally irresponsible to suggest that there are sane folks who do just that.

someone is sure to come along and make you rob a bank or chop off your own arm if you go about just plain submitting without boundaries and safewords and limits and earning it and it being inspired and such....sheesh.

Thats not what i think it was ment to do i think it was more on a "Am I normal" Since that is waht i had asked when i was sent the D/S Cheat sheet. Ps this is K I am closing out the couples profile and just going to use this noe from now on since i am online a lot more than M is

It's only crazy cuz us simpleminded subbies will just drop to our knees at the word of a complete stranger with no regard for our own safety so we have to have some standards in place! Sheesh, beth! You want me to actually take responsibility for my life???? That's the mostest insanest thing I've heard all day long!!!!!!

And don't forget the idea that some have that submissives that submit for the pure joy of it and need to submit to someone are some how weaker than those who're not naturally submissive, and want submission because it inspired them.
