Before you go though, I havent told you what you can and cant debate, just repeatedly pointed out the topic and your refusual to address it.

Leaving aside the politics of Gun Control and of hate for the NYPD/Police in general.

This is speculation however:-

Many of those injured may have been struck by bullet fragments. Would use of Frangible ammunition by the NYPD have saved injury to members of the public and would they be less effective? In practical terms Frangible ammo costs more I believe and is somewhat less effective. However how much are the NYPD going to end up paying these folks? Even if they were running after the cops with camera phones in a demonstration of anti-evolutionary behaviour....

Thaz's top tip for an fighting in built up areas :- kerbstones make for much better cover than cars when it comes to stopping bullets.
