RumpusParable -> RE: Knives in play (11/7/2013 2:02:57 PM)

Personally, I separate "knife play" and "cutting play" as the former doesn't (and usually doesn't, in my experience) involve actually cutting (beyond what is really just a fine scrape on the skin, not actually breaking it). Various ways to do knife play: Combine it with temperature play using the blade hot or cold, of course using different parts of the blade for different sensations (point, edge, flat, handle), tapping, striking, poking, very careful techniques of vaginal and mouth insertions, mindfucks regarding it being cutting play, cutting or shaving off a person's hair with it, mindful of doing such when a person values their hair highly, texture differences in the width and smooth vs roughness or seration of the blades, texture differences in the materials the blades are made of, the emotion effect using a knife itself causes on some people, cutting off clothing, and so on.
