There are millions of Christians who believe the Bible to be the unvarnished, unabridged word of God. Yet they have enough sense to ignore the words of God - they do not to go out and slaughter all the non-believers they encounter. There are hundreds of millions of Muslims who also ignore the bloodthirsty parts of their book and live their lives in complete peace and harmony.

Christians believe that Jesus nullified the Old Testament, because of verses like these in Mathew:
