ORIGINAL: daddysprop247 i didn't see the episode yet but saw promos for it, and now that you've described it a bit maybe i'll try to watch (it repeats like 10X a day here). i did see him being verbally abusive and shaking her a bit in the promos, but as i don't know the story, i'll hold off on any making any judgements. but it is unfortunate to hear that this may be yet another M/s relationship poorly and horribly portrayed by the media. and that they didn't even mention the "Master" thing until the show was going off the air...typical. *smh* i didn't get any indication whatsoever that it really is an M/s relationship. She never said anything about it being so, only that she was forced to call him "master." From all indications throughout the show, it was a vanilla relationship. It was only at the very end that it was thrown out that he made her call him "master." Seemed to me to just be a very abusive marriage in which the abuser had the feeling that he was indeed her master, whether she knew it or not ....kind of an M/s relationship with no "s." i'm sure you're judgements won't mirror mine - we've been down that road too many times - but to me, it was sickening. Mostly because innocent children were being forced to watch and participate in their mother's abuse and the older son seemed to have become so jaded that he could just sit there and video the abuse with virtually no emotion showing. As a matter of fact, he was parroting back the same abusive words his father was throwing out and placing the blame for the abuse onto his mother. There is never any excuse for children to be exposed to such behavior...........luci
