This is what I think -
I am His. I have chosen Him and will continue to be His until one of us changes our mind. (Lets not ever have that happen!! pls) I consider myself Taken, as in off the 'market' - I no longer am looking at other men 'that way', I have a partner - boyfriend - whatever you will.
If He decides He wishes to collar me - To me this would be not only a deeper relationship but a symbol of His mark upon me. More then His property - but a connection that is no longer just in our 'minds' but also to the world. Also it is a mark of His responsibility for me, my emotional and 'slave' state - (not financially or socially.) My worth to be trained to His personal perfection.
What are the other views in here?
Edit - I'd also like to know, for those that are collared or who have collared thier sub/slave. At what point did the collaring happen in the relationship?
Like anything else here, it's all up to the parties involved. A collar is extremely significant to me and i requested one both in being considered and permanently. Master was very happy to oblige my requests. As a result i am quite the spoiled slave as i constantly wear 2 collars - the one He placed on me when He was considering me, and the permanent one. He also has a leather collar with an o-ring He places on me for more intense use.
Since Master and i did not live together for over a year (that's changing this Saturday -- *smiles*), and since the world in general does not promote or support slavery, consentual or otherwise, His collars served as constant reminders to me that i am owned and have a commitment to obey Him. i don't think a collar is necessary for what's in a sub/slave's heart. But it makes me smile.
