I enjoy reading the paper and doing the crossword puzzles. When we are together, we do them together. We're both in our early 20's. Although, I do get your point. It's weird. I have never felt a jealous vibe from an older submissive in RL, but it does seem prevelant over the internet.

Shy is 52? Why the pic of the 18-25 yr old in your icon? Guess it really does pay to read someone's profile :-) Perhaps that's why you've encountered so many older Doms looking for 18-25s. We are more interested in younger subs because it supports the D/s dynamic. Being senior adds credibility to the dynamic and many who like to lead like having a lot to teach. One that already knows as much or more than I do about life would be less fun to mold. Of course there are older women that fit into that category but that usually means the learning has been slow so far and my job would likely be harder. Many Doms don't have that teaching/nurturing thing and so older is fine. In those cases the preference is more likely one of physical aesthetics. Leto

Leto Avatars are not supposed to necessarily be an accurate depiction of who we are, many of them are cartoons for example, do you think that people are actually cartoons? Most of the dominants on the other side do not read this forum, they state what they want in their profiles, and it is common for the older ones to want younger ones. I am still considered a "younger one" by dominants 10 years older than myself, so I have seen this quite a bit. It does not bother me personally. If someone does not want me because of my age, well thats way cool. I want to be with someone that thinks that my age is attractive to them, not someone that would just be using me until someone younger came along... I have also noticed A LOT of dominants that desire women contemporary to them. I think we notice what we focus upon. When I was looking I focused on men that were what I desired and vice versa... and that is what my reality reflected. I spent zero emotional energy bemoaning a 40 year old that wanted two 20s, I might think "Gosh, good luck dude!" but if they could find that..... go them! Personally men that desire that turn me off. I want a man that is into more than fertilizing young holes, trying to make up for their lost youth.. etc. Not that all men that date younger women fall into that category, because they do not, but a lot of them do. It is about a trophy submissive.

I must have missed where shy insulted young submissives, or was derogatory toward them. Perhaps you could point out exactly where you got the impression that she is jealous? I just did not see that. Not all women want to be younger nor do we begrudge others their youth. being 18 to 25 years old was not the best time of my life personally, it has gotten better for me as I have gotten older. Why do they prefer girls my age? Older men have told me it was because young girls are easier to train. As the old saying goes, its hard to teach an old dog new tricks. We have little baggage. We're soft, warm, and cuddly. We laugh a lot. We aren't as "used" as an older woman. Before I have to zip up my flame suit, these aren't my words. Just what I've been told by various Gentleman admirers.

Greetings Shyinini, I read through your thread here and see a wide selection of responses. I guess it does just boil down to preference. I actually have a search winow, but don't limit myself to it exclusively. I find that it matters who the woman is and how she trips my trigger. Younger women do tend to have less in the way of expectations and therefore as one female stated, can be easier to train, but that is only from the standpoint that they are open minded and eager to learn something new. They do tend to be smooth and shiny, but that again isn't their sole domain. They also have faults that the olders don't. But, as those thoughts may only be personal opinion I'll reserve the right to define at another time. I think it's all a personal perference, not all men like younger slutlings, and what should it matter if those involved are rockin' the other's involved world, aren't we all just about getting a little love. I have never done this before and felt a bit weird about doing it... but you are correct, she has accused others of jealousy as well.

I agree!!!! Prerence is 90-100% the reason for anyone chosen!!! To each his/her own!!!!!!! I tutor many college students and they tell me that they are more comfortable with me than friends their own age!!!! So What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my brief experimental period as a sub, I dated a man 13 years my senior, and in retrospect, it was nightmarish. There was the everpresent dispute settler of "well, you're just too damn young"... as if I weren't chosen for that very reason! Anymore, I'm a bit more realistic. I think as a submissive, it's kind of intriguing to be someone's nymphette fantasy girl, but it plays out in reality like real life Nabokov.

Chaos, do you believe that ALL older Doms would have behaved as your one did? Or, does there exist the possibility (nay, PROBability) that your experiences were singular to your relationship with THAT one? Could you have had a different, more positive experience, with a different Dom? Maybe (click-->) THIS (<---click) will help you get over your Nabokovian hurdle. My point is: 1000 relationships will have 1000 different dynamics. No ONE rule applies to ALL, except as defined by YOUR feelings and reactions to your other. fast reply I think it has somewhat to do with the youthworship that is so abundant in society. We are told by the society that young= better, hotter, sexier etc. So in that way having a young girl upon the arm like having a social trophy of some sorts. However I know a couple of guys who only go after young girls because they are less likely to be mothers and they consider children to be a baggage they don't want included.
