The first thing I do is tell them I am on a cell phone, and reception is generally bad in the harbor, and to call me back if we get disconnected. Then I point out that I never give out personal information over my cell phone. I simply ask them to email me a document. If they refuse, I ask to speak to their supervisor. If I get the supervisor on the phone, I ask for their contact information. The last guy who tried to bully me on the phone got my response: "You have made the same comment three times. Now, I have no problem with you verbally assaulting me on the phone, if that is what your company promotes as a standard policy, but I am more interested in fixing the problem." Dead silence on the other end. The person realized that all calls are recorded for quality purposes, and he was the one who sounded like an abusive jackass. Then my cell phone, for some odd reason, loses connection and I let any further calls go to voice mail. Sinergy
