There are a few exceptions, but for the most part snakes used in these kinds of services are taken out of the wild (sometimes illegally) housed in filthy nasty boxes, not given sufficient (or any) food or water, and abused until they die. Or after mistreatment but before they die, they are released in unappropriate sites that are not the original habitat. That is not only a death sentence for them but a potentially huge problem for local populations as well due to parasite and disease vectors and overloading existing resources in the habitat. These fanatics are not exactly taking GPS locality data and microchipping their subjects, so even if they say they have a catch and release policy, it's likely to suck. Wildlife abusers are some more people that I'd happily shoot and grind up for fertilizer, since they will never do the planet any damn good any other way. Unfortunately the government does not agree and in fact tends to get pretty mad when you make their taxpayers into fertilizer, so I've had to restrain these urges. Sometimes it's pretty damn difficult however. [:@]

He never directed people killing others and that is where you are wrong. He had enlisted thousands who believed in what he said but never asked anyone to carry out that belief. fast reply - most folks disagree on his stances. i think we all understand that. Another human being has passed. No we don't agree with his principles but don't we have some thought for his family and friends? i abhor his beliefs but yes i feel sorry for his family and friends and i have found so many of the responses to be totally abhorrent. Your responses have been no better than what he believed in so you have basically degraded yourselves. minnetar

Hey, question. So, since Falwell is a Christian, presumably he believed that he would go to heaven, and that heaven is his "home" whilst earth was not. Wouldn't he then be celebrating his own death? I mean, Christians go on forever about how they can't wait to be with the Lord. Why should I not agree? He's where he wants to be, and, evidently, where countless others want him as well.

I never liked him. I can't think of any statements he made that I ever agreed with. It was fun to watch him debate though, and he was gifted as a speaker. I'm glad he won't have any firther influence, but he didn't have to die for that to happen. I'd have settled for hearing that he and Rosie O'Donnell were lost at sea together.

Other than the fact that theres one less hate mongering zealot in the world, i have absolutely no feeling one way the other over his death. I'm sure he had loved ones who will mourn him.. To be honest....death, in old age, is as natural as life. The secret, is leaving reasons for those you leave behind, to celebrate your life.
