*whew* I am wooooooooooooooore out! I went to thew school today, we played tennis with the kids, practising how to lob the ball and control it, I ran all over the place, I haven't moved that much of that fast in ages, my heart thinks it's trying to escape lol.

I am also proud of myself because even though we ate at jack in the box around noon for lunch, which yeah aint the healthiest place around, I chose not to have fries nor a soda:D

yeah today was good. I forgot I could move that fast lol. Fast food is ok if you get small portions, I'd like to cut all fast food out of my life too, but I am realistic, if I am starving and we are not going home for a while, or if we are, but nothing to eat at home, well fast food it is!

Lately I've taken to reading the nutritional charts at the various fast food places....yeeegods! It's astounding how many calories you can comsume and not even realize it...I challenge anyone to read those and really, truly enjoy the guilt laden items.

I think that's what did it for "me"...i ordered a fish sandwich and fries at McDonald's for lunch once and saw the nutritional value of it....it's like opened up your arteries and hardening them yourself

I can only imagine...I use to love my fraps from Starbucks but being a diabetic I don't get them anymore...I work at a grocery store with a Starbucks inside of it so I stick with my shaken green ice tea w/ splenda.

good for you Feline!

Like Jersey, i have given up all fast food - did that a couple of years ago...i keep power bars in my purse or back pack for my hypoglycemia when i have gone too long without a meal. Also, i don't drink soda - makes a big difference.

Way to go, Feline! A lifestyle change is not one big decision, but a thousand small ones. Congratulations on taking these steps.

I've read them, and I've watched super size me, I know they're loaded with calories and fries and a soda tripple that,  and I still enjoy those items. just fine. When I want a treat I don't worry about what's in it and such, I eat it and I enjoy it, and then I make sure that what ever else I put into me is at least semi healthy for the rest of the week.

Good for you feline!! I played professional tennis and taught for 30 years, it's a terrific lifetime sport--until your joints give out like mine have.
