Okay, I answered one of the 5 threads going about outfits, clothes, etc. I was talking about this last week in the chatroom here on CM. I was stating that if I usually dress for the submissive who is in charge here? I am not talking about women that desire to wear fetish wear a lot because THEY like it. I am talking about women that FEEL they should or need to wear it because their submissive likes it. I have no problem with giving a submissive a wardrobe "treat" now and then, especially for good behavior and really good service. But, I have never felt compelled to dress to please a submissive. I have a demanding career and a very busy and hectic real life, when I come home, I often shower and put on my nightgown and slippers. This ain't going change on the day that I collar and gain a live in submissive. I am not in this lifestyle feeling I must dress in costumes or put on performances on a day to day basis. When I get a submissive it will be just like when I got married. What you see is what you are going to fucking get. You damn sight better love me no matter what I wear. I am curious, who dresses totally for herself around here, or do you feel you need to dress up to please a submissive? And, IF you live with a submissive and you manage to dress up on a daily basis, my hat is off to you! [sm=applause.gif] Especially those that live with their submissives, it is a lot easier to play dress up when you do not live 24/7. We all know that when we are "dating" we go out of our way to look our best all the time, and honey that does change when you live with someone.[;)] For some strange reason, I can't think of many Dominant men that put on leather pants or dress up around the house on a daily basis. I don't see this as a right or wrong question, just curious and wondering if I am the only casual, laid back, comfy cozy slippers Dominant woman around here? My dream these days is to have floggers that match my slippers.[:D]

MzMia, nope, you're not. Personally, I love fetish wear, but I also love lingerie for the softer side of Me. The thing is, I wear what I feel I'm in the mood for, even if that's just a silk robe.... and definitely the slippers! (Especially true with no boy at My feet, because they get cold.) I even own a (control the shock) pair of sweatpants that I've been known to wear once in a while. Ok, so it's once in a GREAT while, but I still do it. I agree with the "hat's off" to anyone who can be top dressed every minute of every day. Personally, I know My feet were meant to have both heel and toe on the floor once in a while, not always in high heels. I'm not a big t-shirt person, but every once in a while, it's great to just throw on something comfortable, and I think the right submissive will appreciate the difference.

JK, I am glad you are free and feel comfortable wearing whatever the hell you want to wear. After I typed this, I realized that I would NOT have typed this if I was 15 years younger. But at this stage of the game I want to be comfortable, happy, healthy and live to be 99. My home is my santuary, and I love to float and be comfortable as I run around. ...mumbling...sweat pants is just wrong......[;)]

<Laughs> And what's worse.... They are really old sweatpants. I've had them forever, because they only make it out of the closet every now and then. I realized after I typed the above that My new purple flogger actyally does match My purple fuzzy slippers! AHA!

I thought sweatpants, along with those shell suit things had been banned under UN resolution 736/05? Mind you I should talk. 3-99 jeans from Tesco, 1-99 T-shirt from Tesco and some old, old shoes that are so comfy it should be a crime; just a shame they have holes in them LOL! Dressing up is special, and it wouldnt be if it were every day. E

Lady E, what can I say, I am rouge. I'm sure they will kick Me out of the club. <laughs> MzMia, don't worry about the thread not getting a lot of responses. A lot of the crowd can't handle the idea of a Domme who might not literally spend morning, noon, and night, 365 days a year in fetish wear. When you find the ones that can.... they are worth having. And, like Lady E said, if it was done ALL of the time, it wouldn't be special anymore. Edited because I can't spell before morning caffeine. Where are those boys with My diet pepsi?

Ok i'm not a Domme so i hope You don't mind my input. One of my "jobs" is when my Master comes home i am to have His shower ready. That means the towel out His clean undies, t-shirt, and PJ pants, and water warm and ready. It does not bother me in the least that He dresses comfy in the house. i like it and i like that i can help make Him comfortable. He does not put to many dress codes in the house on me either other than clean, neat, and no shoes.

Hi MzMia I posted on the other thread that I sometimes dress in domme attire for my boy becasue I like to see the look on his face when Im dressed like that. I would add though that thats for my benefit not his primarily. I love to see the look on his face and when I see that it makes me feel good.[:D] I guess its my way of teasing him. If i really want something from him I like to go at it in full force Its just another tool to get what I want [:D] I definatly dress to please myself. My boy has a weird phobia of buttons [&:] lol I thought he was winding me up till I saw a program about people with the same phobia and I still wear clothes with loads on if I want because I will wear what I want when I want it and he has two choices!!! I take my hat off to others too that spend their days in full regalia, I imagine it must be uncomfortable and boring after a while.

My daily wear consists of jeans, athletic shoes and a shirt of some kind. This is nearly every single day. I hate skirts/dresses and the last time I wore one was on my wedding day and that was years ago! I have dress slacks and dress pant suits for dress up meetings/occasions. Once I get home I get on my pj's or nightie and I am barefoot. My sub knows this and happily accepts the fact that I am comfortable. When we play sometimes I dress up and sometimes I do not, it just depends upon my mood at the time. ~Lashra

Well, I do have crocs that match my floggers lol. They are my version of fuzzy slippers. And, yep, I have worn my black crocs to parties and events. The only comments I got were kewl idea and I bet your feet are comfortable.

When I dress, I dress for the occasion, myself and my man in that order. I do sometimes take into consideration his preferences when dressing especially if I am really wanting to get him all hot and bothered. Mostly I dress and choose outfits when shopping based on my own personal taste and style. I always dress to suit the occasion. If I am at home, going nowhere sweat pants, shorts, jammies work for me. If I am going to a business function, suit. Play party fetishy wear. I definitely do not dress up on a daily basis and the times I dress specifically to play are only a small percentage of the time. Aside from the times that are based around a particular event, play is usually a bit more impromptu or going to happen after we have done something else like a day on the town or dinner. I will play wearing whatever it is I am at the time and that is typically not fetish wear. Besides, it all usually comes off eventually anyway.

Usually if I want to "dress up" for my slave, I just put on a set of kitty ears cause he loves catgirls. Otherwise I dress for me. It feels very powerful to have a big strong man go down and kiss my teddy bear slippers.

I dress up for parties. At home I'm a T shirt and shorts kind of girl...except mornings which I'm a big terry cloth rob kind of gal. But I don't dress up in fetish clothing all the time. And my slave has to understand that he's not getting a barbie doll to dress up. He's long since learned not to buy me fetish clothing. If he wants to buy a D/s thing he buys me toys. Clothing is not something he gets to buy. But when I play...I play naked. I like to feel their skin, I like them to feel mine. Which is where I prefer to play at home rather than at parties (don't go naked at parties) Just my two cents. Mistress Taboo

I'm strictly comfort at home. Otherwise, I'm a college student, so it's mostly jeans, pullover shirts, flip flops or loafers (I don't care to wear sneakers other than at work). I have a couple corsets and the like, but the only time I really wear them is for large fetish events.

As soon as I get home from work it's off with everything and on with either a long t-shirt or short nightgown. In the winter I perfer mens sleeping pants and a t-shirt and my pink fuzzy slippers.
