MistressLorelei -> RE: Approaching Dommes ? (5/16/2007 4:25:39 PM)

I don't recommend approaching a woman in the vanilla world and asking if she is Dominant, but approaching her if the time/place seems reasonable and initiating a vanilla conversation or paying her a polite compliment can't hurt.... what have you got to lose? Fairly recently, I was approached by a male who turned out to be very submissive, though he has never experienced the kinky side of bdsm. He very nervously approached me and said I had beautiful nails... "submissive" instantly popped into my head as I said thank you. A week later, I was studying in the same cafe, and he approached me again, and we began talking about vanilla 'stuff', which led to a coffee meeting, then dinner where he learned many shocking details of My relationship ideals. I was preparing to re-locate out of state when we met, but we remain close. Complimenting her shoes, her pedicure, or a small detail that the typical male might not bother to notice; acting with gentleman qualities, etc. might send a signal to a Dominant woman that you just might be submissive.
