Status: offline 		I am curious to hear different ideas of how the submissive or slave might spend time in a cage.

I really love the idea of using a cage regularly. The slave can spend time meditating or reflecting on her submission. I think the cage should be large enough for crawling and resting (sleeping) but not big enough for too much movement. The owner should buy a real bondage cage, not a cheap dog cage. I like unescapable heavy duty bars that can not be rattled. The slave should not be locked in the cage when the Master is out of the house, but while he is present she should be padlocked in. Some form of chastity should be used. I prefer the idea of using leather fist mitts to make the slave's fingers useless. I like the idea of attaching a dildo so it is sticking in the cage, so the slave can practice giving oral sex. A video camera or webcam should be placed on the sub to make sure she is completing her task and not slacking, of course the slave will remain naked at all times, and possibly with a hood padlocked on.

I like the idea of having various cages. One for long periods of time (like the one described above) where the slave can reflect, read, or relax. Also there should be some form of "punishment" cage that restricts the slave's movement even more, and that is covered so the slave is in complete darkness. Rice can be placed on the bottom of the cage to make kneeling unpleasant. The slave will not know how long she will spend in the cage, and a kitchen timer that rings will be set on top of this. The amount of time the slave will spend in the cage should be 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60 minutes. The number will be randomly determined by using a dice. Again the slave will not know how long she is in for. For a punishment cage, a very large plastic garbage bin with airholes might suffice, or any other type of box.

Does anyone else have any ideas for cage-time?

Cages caos money, so for a few extra pennies you can afford a real chastity belt, in the US, Locked in steel, in Europe, Neosteel. Screw the fist mitts, leave her in there with her hands chained really close to her inaccesible twat. You might shove a vibe through the bar now and then, when the mood strikes.

Then later you can chain her wrists to the top of the cage, forcing her legs out the other end if it isn't too big. Then you work her ass and the inside of her legsd until she can't stand it anymore. Get her to call you a bad name and then leave her in the chastity belt for like a week.

Treat her real good, just don't take that belt off her. A few days later more cage time might be in order, or at least some strict restraint. Get her face down and restrained, cage or not and work on her inner thghs, ass, and get as close to her locked parts as possible. Enjoy yourself, get out some oil or something. Make it so she cannot walk.

Every time she asks to get out of the belt,, put her in the cage, in an uncomfortable position. NOT overnight, don't make her ache. Grab her by the rear chains of the chastity belt and show her who's boss.

Let that void between her legs talk.

That is most powerful.

Status: offline 		Yeah, no one should be left alone while incapable of helping themselves.  While thick locks and chains are fun, they're hardly necessary on a sub unless you expect her to try to escape.  In which case you probably shouldn't be keeping her as a sub in the first place.  Simple answer is to take some thread or yarn and tie it across the the bars, shutting it.  In order to leave she'll have to break the string.  Easy enough to do in an emergency, but she won't be able to fix it after and pretend she'd been inside all day.

Status: offline 		I love our cage my boy spent the morning revising for his exams in it on saturday.  We have one spacious enough for him to stretch in it when he is told to and I can limit his movement in it in various ways with rope etc.  And its big enough for me to get in it with him and tease him in it , though i did get panicky when I couldnt open it from the inside haha

Status: offline 		I'm of the opinion that unless one's house burns down on a regular basis, or the person in the cage has known medical issues, a captor should have no problem leaving a person caged in a comfortable position while the captor is out of the house for work or whatever.  I speak as someone who looks for caging / confinement as the captive.  For me, anything on the trust system - a key in an envelope, or my word to stay in an unlocked cage - makes the caging playtime and not real.  I'm not sure what the odds are of a house burning or my having a medical problem but I suspect I'm in more danger driving on the Jersey Turnpike.

I understand it is not my call.  The person holding the keys to the cage is responsible for my survival while under his control.  He gets the final decision.  But if we both seek as much reality as possible, and if I have no objection, then leaving me locked in for the day need not be an issue.  For a master or dom or capitor it is no more of a risk, and probably less, than if he gives someone a hard flogging.

We have a "key safe" and it has a combinaion. HOWEVER, whenever it is opened it records the time and date of it's having been opened. So the slave can be left in the cage, BUT, if they get out we will know about it and can then deal with it in an appropriate manner.

Status: offline 		i've been "caged" for as long as 2 days, however i know of slaves who are kept caged for much longer, even a few weeks. some baby wipes and a litter box can take of the basics of hygiene, or if one has the privacy and facilities to do so, the cage could be hosed down, with slave still inside.

i said "caged" in quotes above because it is not always the actual cage, more often it is a small, dark room which can be locked, like a coat closet or crawl space. my Master has had me loosely bound and locked in the crawl space (no lights) and left for work or wherever else. again unless as one person said, one's home is an unusually high fire risk or other such hazard, this is not really an issue.

as for how my time is spent, once i calm down emotionally (the first half hour or so of being caged always makes me frightened/sad/irritated), it's usually in meditation. sometimes the caging might be part of a punishment or a disciplinary tool when i may have temporarily slipped out of place. being caged gives me the time and calm environment needed to reflect on my actions and how i can improve. if the caging is for an extended period of time, say a day or more, i spend much of the time sort of "zoned out," unaware of my surroundings or even myself.

Status: offline 		The odds may be low but trying to explain to the police that the burned body in the basement was locked in there consesually and that the death is accidental might be a little tough (read you're going to jail for a long time).

Especially since any coroberating evidence would have burned in the fire.
No testimony, no contract, no proof of any kind that they were consensually there.
Might as well go along quietly.

Status: offline 		For the love of god people, for a freaking "fringe" society we certainly are afraid of "risk". When was the last time your house burned down? Or anyone you knew? Maybe its an American thing but I just don't see my friend's homes being burned down /flooded / broken into ummm... ever!

And if you are that worried then take steps to mitigate the risk. Spend a few dollars and get a lock that works with a remote (or build your own) such as one at http://www.keylesspro.com/remote.htm Now find a techo-geek in the area to have the lock triggered by a smoke detector. See, it really isn't that hard to reduce these "risk" if you are that worried about it. Want a cover story? I have dogs, I want the dog door to be unlocked in case of fire ;-)

Now to the topic... have a networked webcam in the cage so you can watch your slave remotely. Hang a set of nipple clamps in the cage so you can watch her suffer for you from the comfort of your workstation. I often had the cage as a reward time, all the cumming you want, with a few fun toys in the cage to keep the girl busy ;-)

Or be a bit evil. Go the humilation route and diaper her before you cage her for a few hours. Tell her if the diaper is not completely dry then there will be hell to pay. Or just enjoy her suffering as she tries to hold it ;-)

Why not allow her a laptop in the cage? That way she can keep up with friends and family and maybe even get some paperwork done for you? (Anyone want to take care of doing my expenses hehehe).

The possibilities are endless really. Have fun!

See how rediculous it is to take the context away from a statement.

I simply wanted to spotlight the other side of risk awareness.
What are the chances has to be ballanced against what are the potential consequences.

The chances are 1 in 10,000 that I'll draw blood if I do X. vs. The chances are 1 in 10,000 that the bottom will die if I do Y.

Hmmmmmmm bit of a difference in how seriously I'll take those two.

And taking steps to mitigate the risk is exactly the idea I wanted folks to think about.
Take whatever steps you think are nessisary to get the risk ad level of consequences down to whatever is for you an acceptable trade off. Just don't let me here the bullshit excuse of I never thought it would happen.
Because the truth of that excuse ends after the 3rd word.

And just for yucks I checked the odds according to insurance actuarial data.
Chances are 1 in 220 for the average house to catch fire.

Status: offline 		i had a Master once, who wanted to cage me, most of the time for a month, i would be in the cage all day while he was at work, and then he might or might not take me out for play time when he was home.
i did worry about being left locked in a cage all day, in an older house, in an older neighborhood.
Fire wasn't the only worry, how about if robbery occurred, or your blood sugar plumated, in the summer what if the air went off, its can be over 100 alot of the time in the summer, what if he had a heart attack on the job, or was killed on the road home....
i don't think it is silly to think of these things...yeah its really hot to think about being caged and used like an animal...but its even hotter if you live through it...

Status: offline 		I'm usualy locked in for a day or an afternoon. i have been in for a weekend many times and a couple for w eek. I use the time to reflect and meditate. I like it other than having to go to the bathroom, not a fan of that lol
