Actually there is such a case. Man tied his wife, gagged her and left her in a garage while he went to the store. When he returned the place was engulfed in fire. He actually was aquitted. His defence. She was a pervert who was into bondage and made him tie her up, etc. They bought it...he is a free man and interestingly enough the man who got him off was the same guy who has testified against pornographers.

Actually there were also a few cases of people making it to the moon. Can you believe that!? The moon! We must be careful of such things happening again! After all, it has happened before!

I think we are way off tangent and heavily into safety police mode here. Hows about if you don't have the common sense to have a buddy kinkster that knows you have a lovely slave girl locked up in home in case of emergency then maybe you should not be in the scene hrmmm?

So who else has some on topic ideas?

Other ideas... What about having the girl complete a virtual college or university course? Hell you could have all sorts of fun with rewards and punishments for marks obtained (not those marks your perverts ;) )

How about one of those kong's with the treat inside like they give to dogs to keep them occupied while in cages? Melt chocolate pour it inside and let it solidify?

Part of what I like about the "cheap dog cages" is that they are easily escapable. They can be locked and appear secure and the ability to disassemble it would just slip out of mind unless the need should arise... Kind of like an additional form of mental bondage, as being a sub or slave truly tends to be. It's just not safe in my mind, or anyone else I have seriously spoken with to leave someone in a locked cage with no ability to escape even IF someone else is around. Just imagine, however unlikely it may be, you put your submissive in a cage and lock her up nice and tight then you suffer a heart attack. All she can do is watch and listen....... and struggle to pry bars and break locks. I've personally heard some bad stories of a sub being in some form of bondage or another and being unable to do anything but watch on as the one they looked up to suffered some kind of tragedy. Again, while unlikely, totally possible, and more likely the more you do things, and even more likely the more confident you become. Now that I have rambled about that.......... I've read books in one, been in spotlight ( My ex attached a small reading lamp ~ the kind you attach to the headboard to the side of the cage, then threw a blanket over the cage leaving one side open and turned the lights off, he could see me, I couldn't see him), obviously you can play, poke, prod, tease, humiliate in all ways you may anyway :-P Since I am an ageplayer... even though BDSM and ageplay are separate for me, I am always an ageplayer and a lil girl inside and so I get scared sometimes so I would get those toys like the ones you put on the side of a crib and have a few stuffed animals and make it like "my place" to feel safe and comfortable, almost like decorating it... of course what ended up in there was not 100% my own final choice, but within reason it was highly so...

I don't know how off topic it is exploring the risk assessment. How would you feel if you had your Wife in a cage and cam home from work to find the house burnt down. What if they didn't even find her ? Or what if they heard her screams and a fireman died trying to get her out ?

There has to be a happy medium somewhere, minimizing the risk and even if the Master leaves, comes back periodically, and doesn't go far. For one most people need to eat lunch or something. But there could be other visits, to change the bondage or something.

First of all if I were to do it, I would have a very advanced security system, and probably big dogs in the yard. That would help with the cover story for the smoke detector controlled releases.

I would also consider access to a telephone, at least a real wired phone that will work if the power goes out. If the cage is in the basement, wire it directly to where the lines come in. Better yet a cellphone, one that keeps a record of outgoing calls and has detailed billing.

Now I would say you could leave for a bit, leaving her in some bondage, and I don't mean on a plane to Lisbon.

So for a number of hours she could be in some strict bondage, totally helpless, because otherwise you have to setup releases for each cuff or whatever. Simpler is better though, so perhaps a way could be found so she can reach the combination lock and a phone, and you can tell her the combination. The chains for her wristcuffs figured out to give her enough to do that, but not enough to touch herself. The anklecuffs could be attached with simple clips because she can't reach them without the conbination.

As long as she has no major medical issues, there could be an automated way to reveal the combination to the captive. But only if certain conditions exist.

The system must be tested.

On a tangental note, I have something to say about this, I won't dwell on it. To be caged and restrained and catheterized or diapered or at least wearing a CB using a bucket, would be something. Even if the captor didn't leave, as long as they are out of sight, would be a rush.

I have been in jail a few times. Nothing serious (they didn't catch me for that), but when I got out I got a very strange sensation. I can only describe it as very corporeal. It's like I was more aware of my physical presence and didn't think so much about other things.

Also, I hear they got a fake jail somewhere you can go to (for a price). I guess they got all the latest restraints and stuff. IIRC it was quite pricey. It might be worth a whirl for some.

Anyway, I doubt they can match the personal experience in the basement. An electric shock device used until she says stop, then say "That wasn't yellow, so I'll stop, stop using this pitifully low setting on this thing". Then she says yellow, then later when it is her time to cum you refuse to use the Estim on her "You're afraid of electricity remember ?".

MUAAHAHAHA

"Can I at least have a vibe ?", hell no, there is three whole volts in that thing. Awesome ain't it. Restrain her so she can do it the old fashioned way and then later restrain her so she can't. "You gonna do that all night, I'm sick of it". Make her beg. Then throw her in the cage.

But at no time would I want to walk in the door and find her to be extra crispy. That guy may have got off legally, and I could see him convicted for reckless endangerment actually. But that is not the point, I bet he has alot to deal with in his own mind. So the safety issues raised are not irrelevent.

Can you imagine seeing that ? About how long before you start imagining what her last few moments of life were like ? Testing the lock, looking for any weak spot in the cage, even trying osmosis through the bars, perhaps knocking her body really hard against the bars, breaking her bones. Then finally succumbing to the smoke. I don't think that's quite what you had in mind for her experience.

Tell you what, it just came to me, but I will start another thread. The safest way I can think of right now, I almost bought some of these things. The thread will be called Cage safety.

Risk assessment is off topic in my view because the OP did not ask for safety related issues, rather for ideas on what to do with a caged person. One can assume that they have already decided to pursue this and are now looking for ideas.

Let's look at this in another context. "I'm driving to British Columbia in the fall, any suggestions on where to say or places to visit along the way?". Imagine the collarme.com responses...

OMG!!! Do you know how many people die in cars EVERY DAY!?!

Don't do it! I had a friend of a friend who knew someone in a car accident and they died! Cars are way too edge play!

Ok, if you are going to drive here is what you do... sit behind the wheel in the drivers seat. Now place your hands in the 10 and 2 .... blah blah blah.

None of these responses had anything to do with what the OP had asked... much like most of the answers in this thread.

Must, I have opened up a thread for the risk. And brought in a pretty damn good solution as well.

And if you look back, my first response was dead on topic. I kinda just followed.

So.....

If I were in a cage I would want to be restrained. It would do me no good to have all my needs met and be able to jack off and do whatever I want. I would want to be restrained from doing so. Whether by tether or chastity device, or both. I want to be REALLY glad to see her return.

And with the situation reversed I want her just as frustrated. She'll get her's, but when I say.
